Whoa whoa whoa, Did you just volunteer to GM an adventure for little uke here because 'she' is new and wants to learn how to play? That's flippin' awesome!
Well, I'm happy to help you learn and answer questions, as are most folks on the boards. Even if that means being a part of a Killer Munch GM'd adventure with you... that's a sacrifice I am willing to make. Or whatever else can be done to help.

Hay! I've GM'd sum 3 campaigns.
I hope the irony of my statement came through clearly, I realize it could have come off as extremely insulting. No insult intended! :-(

I'm well versed in pathfinder and if your looking for a sort of "Beginner" party, I wouldn't mind helping out. Playing with a group in a simple setting is a good way to get your feet wet. Plus you have a nice crew of folks to learn from.
This way the DM and fellow players can show all the ins and outs of the core rules.
If you feel going more advanced, Catfolk knifemaster is kind of advanced, then a group can help you along.
Plus it allows me to get into a game, yeah I had an ulterior motive but hay, is anything I said wrong? I like helping new players too.
There's my two bits :)

Probably has to due with the whole "Cat" Burglar thing she mentioned. Clever. I've used knife master before too, it is a fun fun fun archetype, especially on a goblin hehehe.
I'm going for the divine in the group an I'll play a druid (Saurian Shaman) Half-elf for the moment but if the GM allows for extended races I'd like to play a Nagaji
It's been okay Roid, suddenly I've got ALL my free time to post back. Sadly, almost every game I was either running or playing in had ended :(.
Hehe, I'm at the moment only running two games and they are both star wars. That makes me chuckle.

Cool, I'll take the arcane then. Will have a concept probably tomorrow since I got to go to work in a half-hour hehe. I know I was very sad when Souls of Lost Aridia was lost, I had a lot of fun in both games you were running. Let me know if you want to start another one with all your free time but am happy I'll get to play with you again buddy! hehe.

Just some straight advice, plan out a few levels down the road, and think through your choices. This will help keep you from building a barbarian that's a glass cannon, or a wizard that can't cast most spells.
Other than that, the best way to learn is to play. I'll have a cleric or something ready in a bit.

As far as character sheets, I usually look at the beastiary and copy paste edit. It's a fairly standard format that most people know how to read easily. I've also seen people download and edit pdfs and post a link to it.
On a side note, I've been playing for many years and know the rules fairly well. I can also play any character, if you need a gap filler.

I was trying to total up how many people have actually responded to this... I was actually thinking of starting a similar thread myself. I'm relatively new to Pathfinder; I was in a short-lived home game as an intro, a failed pbp, and am about to go to my first society game, so I still feel pretty new and green. If there is room I would love to join and fill in any gaps. If there is not room do not hesitate to tell me (my feelings won't be hurt) and I'll start a similar thread and see if I can get any bites that way. I'm nowhere near being able to GM, but playing once or twice a month with the society might not be enough. Please, let me know!
