Hi everyone, this is my first real post in this part of the forum. I have been reading quite a bit, and while some things are a bit confusing to me (pretty much all the advance planning by the guilds) I really want this to succeed.
I tried to get my gaming friends interested in Pathfinder Online, but without success ( most have experience with World of Warcraft like me) they are for various reasons quite unwilling to take part in the kickstarter. I have currently pledged at the 100 $ level, and increased my pledge to 160 $.
Now I want to play with my friends, but the crowdforger buddy level would cost me my place in line (getting into the first month) and include benefits my friends frankly won't use (the miniatures, the soundtracks and all the pdf).
So what I am asking is, can we get some add-on, that allows us to gift a friend a copy of the game and invite him into early enrollment, once all the slots from the kickstarter have been filled?

The date you first pledge is what's tracked in relation to your "place in line" as far as I'm aware.
It does but only for that "line". If you switch from pioneer to buddy then you move out of line and into the next one. You retain any other benifits such as daily deals though. Ryan has said this and it should be up in the faq area of the main page of the kicstarter now.

Up your pledge to the $500 guild level and you'll get 6 accounts (currently) with access to Early Enrollment stage 1 that you can give out to your buddies later, then you can keep the minis for yourself :)

The date you first pledge is what's tracked in relation to your "place in line" as far as I'm aware.
Actually, Sebastian Hirsch has it right. If he changed his pledge from Crowdforger Pioneer to Crowdforger Buddy (or Guild), he would lose his current place in line, and be placed in line according to the current state of his new pledge level.
From Ryan, please tell me I didn't lose my place in the first month because I added $200 to my pledge!:

The only thing that changes your Early Enrollment date is changing a lower tier pledge to Buddy or Guild or from Buddy or Guiild to a lower pledge level.
Add-Ons have no effect on your Early Enrollment induction date.

The kickstarter came pretty much at the worst time of the year for me, so my funds are limited. Some kind of add-on would help - and might motivate others in the same situation, where upping their pledge would have distinct disadvantages.
That said, I totally expect that there will be an option to invite more players into Pathinder Online once all the kickstarters have entered the game. It would be quite unlikely for Goblinworks to ignore players willing to pay.

Crowdforger Reward Bonus - $1 Million Early Enrollment Upgrade
We've heard a lot of concern from people who want to switch reward levels, but don't want to lose their place in line. We want to make sure everyone has a chance to get into the best reward level for them. We looked at the numbers pretty carefully, and we believe it will only stretch our enrollment slots by about 1000 people to offer this benefit to the Crowdforger pledges up to $1 million.
We're going to allow all Crowdforger pledges received before the $1 million milestone into the first month of Early Access. So go ahead and switch levels around however you wish over the next day or so, and don't worry about losing your place in line. Once we hit $1 million, the normal system will be back in effect.
