45. Squatter moves into Mansion

"Look Just get rid of the wretch! Its my Mansion. I will pay you a hundred gold royals each; Just dispose of the trespassing bastard." Gregor was not particularly focused on the conversation - trying to remember some tidbit of gossip he had recently heard.
"What is this about him applying to the Town Council for ownership?" Gregor always did have his ear to the ground in these matters. Tybolt the Sworder smiled inwardly - a hundred gold each was not to be sneezed at.
"He gets ownership in seven years if you cant evict him. Now just dispose of the Bugger." Harlan the Moneylender was feeling frustrated.

DM Briefing: A Squatter (a previously homeless man) has moved into an abandoned mansion on the edge of town and is refusing to leave. The PCs are hired by the Merchant who owns the building (having taken it as payment for a debt) to 'remove the problem'.

46. Secret Factory destroyed by Huge Explosion

"The Explosion was big." Suridan the Spy whispered the words.
"What we know is that the two hundred workers employed there never returned home." He felt Despondent at the loss of life.
"Your task will be to sneak past the Soldiers patrolling the perimeter and enter the ruins..." Kershov the Sworder considered the Task and looked at his companions.

DM Briefing: Two hundred workers employed in a secret factory guarded by soldiers have not returned home and Villagers have been talking of a huge Explosion. PCs are employed to penetrate the ruins of the 'Gunpowder Factory' and find out if there are survivors.

47. Buildings fall into Sinkhole

"And here you have the Wizard's Tower..." Harth turned to look at his next prospective client.
"We built it of the finest stone." Gregor the Merchant watched as the building suddenly dropped from view.

DM Briefing: During the construction a number of buildings in a Town are swallowed by a thirty feet deep sinkhole.
