Just got back to my lodgings and nabbed the PDF version to go with my printed PaizoCon freebie. Delicious, Tim.

Thanks! :D I'm kicking myself for cutting the bit about welding having addictive properties though.

Which parts did you do? Everybody else is fessing up. :)

I wrote the short fiction "Repentant", though editors made quite a bit of editing on it ^^;

Silver Crusade

Ha, just found it! For some reason the search function never found it. :)

Edit-Nice. Now I'm wondering just who and/or what the Repentant is. :)

Nice story Bardess! It's interesting to see what choices the editors make. Though it's fun reading your own story and hitting a line and trying to remember why you wrote it that way, only to realize it was the editor. :) But Wayfinder has some great editors. Loved the changes they made to my story. Though I still hate the title. Oh yeah, my story's "Darkland Dealings".

And now I've nabbed the pdf as well. Woot.

Thank you- and thanks to Lunalynx too. I actually wrote another pièce describing the Repentant (a risen devil in search of redemption, a LN Otherwordly Lord) as well as Minos as his high Oracle of Bones and the mysterious purifying spell, but it didn't make it into the issue. ;P

By the way, Minos is inspired from a friend of mine who loves to play lords of undead. He didn't read it yet. And the "cursed Inquisitor" is my husband (though he prefers to call himself a NG paladin). :)

Is there any general assessment of number of readers of each Wayfinder issue, based on the number of pdf downloads from official venues or are those top sekrit data we are not allowed to know (or simply no one ever bothered with gathering)?

I do get that info, yes. I don't have the totals from #8 or #9 yet, but all in all, from Wayfinder #1 to #7, the zine had roughly 45,000 downloads. So, with the other two recent issues, I'd estimate that Wayfinder has had 50,000+ downloads to date. The totals per issue start at 10K for #1, down to 2500 for #7.

Not too shabby, eh?

Interesting! Is there a general decline from #1-7 or was #7 just low? Are the printed issues downloaded less?

I think it's the difference in amount of time the volumes have been released. Wayfinder 1's been available for... what, 4 years now? 7's only been out for a year or so.

N'wah has the right of it.....

Those 10,000+ downloads for #1 reflect that total amount since its release in 2009. Everytime we release a new issue, new readers that have found us go back and download all the previous ones, too.

So, no, no decline in readership. Just accumulating.

Here is a link to my work on this amazing magazine that we know and love. I owe so much to this magazine and appreciate what it truly does for our fan community.

Hi Tim,

any ideas how I might get my copy this time?

Spoiler:
Maybe adding it to my regular subscriber's shipment for the next AP installment works again as it did last time...

Otherwise please post the link for donations again (I somehow can't find that...)--or maybe somebody can point me into the right direction.

Hi Tim

Can you add me to your newbie after their first "published in an odd issue copy" too please.

If I need to pay, like Ruyan says, it's not a problem, but I would like a printed issue with my work in it to add to my showcase.

I guess we both spotted you ran out of issues at Paizocon and are worried we may have missed the boat on a printed copy.
