And since we're starting on a new page, just figured I would post that we're going to try to have the PDF out by the end of the week!
We still have a little bit to wrap up, but it's coming together pretty quickly. For example, I went through and added more bookmarks last night and am now working on the table of contents.
How about now?
Table of Contents is done.
I placed the final image in the book (discovered last minute that the Astral Swarm graphic was still B&W, so got a colored version), and started fixing the pagination in Chapter 6, since feedback has been minimal.
Andreas sent me the first draft of the Introduction and I'll be adding my touch to that.
And... that's pretty much it.
Once I get pagination fixed on Chapter 6 and Introduction done, I finalize and send out the PDF and get it sent off to the printer for a proof!

I don't know if it has been covered yet. I am running a campaign using the unleashed and expanded books that this product is based on and I was wondering if their is going to be a Mythic path for Psionic characters included?
That will not be in Ultimate.
That will be in its own separate release.
It's going to be a merry Christmas. We wrapped up the introduction today. Tomorrow morning, I export the final pdf and start uploading. :-)
Since I would get the pdf twice, once from the UP kickstarter and once from the miniature kickstarter, would it be possible to gift one of them to another person?

Much better organized, much cleaner...only spotted a minor Proofreader error so far; Expansion, Karak's is missing Karak's in the Psychic Warrior description.

So far I'm finding this pretty clean of issues Jeremy. Impressive. I've only got one typo and a couple of formatting inconsistency issues. I'll post up on the Dreamscarred forum when I've got more or get despondent at failing to find enough to make it worth my while. <Grin>

Ultimate is the compilation of Unleashed, Expanded, and Augmented. Aside from the material in those three books, the only changes are layout and graphics.
That's what I thought. I'm so hungry for more psionics stuff I kept fooling myself in to thinking there would be new material in the book.
If I ever decide I need a hard copy of the Psionics rules I'll invest in Ultimate Psionics.
There will be more new content in Seventh Path and Mythic Psionics

I've just finished going through all of the feedback and fixing all the little things that were missed. I'm currently re-exporting the PDF and will then begin the long process of re-exporting the print file.

Just a quick bit of perspective for anyone who's a bit confused by this... Psionic Augmented is the new material in this book. It's just conveniently made available for anyone who owns PU and PE and doesn't want to buy UP to get it.

Was there any rebalancing done? Tweaking to classes, feats, or powers?
Ultimate Psionics includes all of the latest updates, which means tweaking to some classes, feats and powers.
Jeremy, I hope that either that print export will be re-done or hasn't finished. I know you're eager to put this project behind you, but I've got a bunch of stuff for you on the DSP forum. Not just my pet peeve gender consistency stuff either.
I'm going as fast as I can. I would've just done the edits in-line for you but I realize you really need the InDesign source updated, not the PDF.
To everyone else, I don't mean to imply the editing or proofing here is poor. It is NOT. The sheer word-count in a highly technical and jargon-laden document guarantees small issues will crop up. Also, the iteration process lends to errors. Overall this thing is pretty darned good for a two-guy production and I hand it to to Jeremy and Andreas that it's as excellent as it is.
It hasn't gone yet. I've actually had a technical problem getting the file to upload. I'm not sure if it's because of the sheer size of it or something else. I'm working with technical support on it.
Let me know if I can be of assistance there. I'm an IT guy by trade.

No.
I'll be doing another update based on feedback.
Just a quick update - we've updated the PDF once so far and I'm working on compiling all additional minor corrections for the next update. I'm unfortunately STILL waiting on the printer to fix the technical issue that's blocking the book from getting its proof made. :(

The proof copy from the printer arrived yesterday and it looks awesome!
I plan on taking lots of pictures of it. I've already posted one picture online.
There are some things that need to be fixed - the whole reason we do a printed proof. But I'm working on getting those corrected so that the full print run can begin!
