"Magic Weapon" Spell Applies To CMB?

"When you attempt to perform a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB in place of your normal attack bonus. Add any bonuses you currently have on attack rolls due to spells, feats, and other effects. These bonuses must be applicable to the weapon or attack used to perform the maneuver. "

so, should the +1 from magic weapon apply to the CMB value?

In a blog covering weapon qualities it was stated that magic weapon enhancement bonuses only apply if said magic weapon has the correct quality ie a trip weapon to get the bonus to trip. I presume the same would apply with the magic weapon spell.

It depends, some combat maneuvers are done with weapons, others aren't. When you use a weapon the weapon bonus applies.

Sunder, trip and disarm are examples of where a weapon bonus adds to CMB. Bull rush, overrun or dirty trick are CMs were the weapon doesn't play a big role and therefore doesn't add to the CMB

For combat maneuvers that utilize a weapon, like Trip, Sunder, or Disarm, then yes.

The bonuses to the weapon apply to the combat maneuvers performed with the weapon.

Actually that was later corrected. You can use any weapon with trip.

The trip quality of the weapon allows you to drop it if you fail by 10 or more, instead of get tripped yourself.

I was going by memory, sorry. Thanks for the correction.

Its not your memory, its something that that blog post change... ermm.. "clarified". (and made the trip quality pretty much useless in the process). Prior to that you would have been right

Now where are my keys...

If you can use the weapon to make the attack it applies to your CMB. If you attempt to disarm with a dagger it applies. If you attempt to bull rush or grapple... not so much.
