Thinking about either having adamantine or mithral chainmail made, which one do you think? Which one is better?

The character is an ulfen viking wielding a bastard sword and shield.

If you rely on acrobatics and speed (and abilities in light armor), the Mithral is better.

If you're a 'get in their face and don't move' type, then go for the Adamantine.

All IMHO

I am what they call the "rambo" of the group

Unless you have armor training then mithral is better.

if you have the dex high enough (or plan to eventually have it high enough) to take advantage of the increased dex from mithral, then i would go that route, otherwise i would go adamantine.
