So. Somebody give the CMB for a seductive succubus suplex into an appropriate vessel of viscous edible foodstuff yet?

The CMB would be BAB+Strength Modifer+Special Size Modifer. Viscous foodstuff, I'd add a -2 penalty to the Attack Roll due to footing challenge. Grappler's Grease/Oil, it'd be -4 to the roll(I've LARP'd that grapple-check, -4 is being generous.)

1) Too young to be interested in her

2) Just right
3) Too old to be interesting to her

Adventurers are category 2.

Not sure if it is from age or just from his change shape ability, but succubus usually range from the teen to the milf categories.
I think the pre- and post-adult age categories should be re-defined as Teen, MILF and GILF.
How long do succubi live? When are they considered an adult? I mean you definitely don't want to get busted for grappling with an underage succubus now!

As far as I know, angels, demons, and devils don't age. (I have no rules support for this view.) However succubi will attempt to look 'underage' if doing so is advantageous.

I now picture some succubi taking levels in sorcerer/wilder/telepath to eventually get to magic jar/mind switch. They keep their charisma while body hopping... not that it matters when they can look like anybody else...

I'm going to make you have fun if I have to wear you like a meat suit.

What? Too weird?

Edit: I can see a pain surge wilder working really well. I can also see powers working really well for one who grapples, as there are no gestures to make while manifesting. Hands free casting is a definite plus.

[Actual Game mechanics tangent]

I was playing a Wizard in a Campaign once who got accused of knowing Abyssal so he could summon Succubi for 'recreational purposes'. Knowing the dangers inherent, he was understandably annoyed that the other person thought so little of his intelligence. Of course, that also then sent my mind down the path of determining the most effective 'safeguards' to use in such activities & since I was playing a person who didn't have particular moral objections to the enterprise, I went a bit dark, concluding that, while the various 'protection from Energy drain' spells would be most efficacious, something like Magic Jar or similar & simply using another person's body might suffice.

I got a lot of awkward looks that game session...
[End actual game mechanics tangent]

And what has this thread taught us?

If a topic needs research is this good, it'll never die.

Another interesting discussion has been taking place in another thread on whether you can force someone that you have grappled to stand up from prone.

So in the context of this thread the question would be if a succubus has been knocked down and is prone and I have successfully grappled her can I then knock her up?

Clearly you'll need to try many, many times in order to find out for certain.

That seems to depend on that other thread then. I hate to depend on them though.
I'd say yes as long as she doesn't weigh more than you can lift at the time and if you confirmed the grapple to move it, move it.

I agree, this is clearly going to require extensive testing. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

Does it matter if she is prophylactically trying to prevent being knocked up?

We're skating on thin ice with this thread at the best of times. Asking for it to be stickied (and isn't it sticky enough?) would just be asking for trouble.

Just point people at it when they want to know how awesome our community is. And ask them if they have any specific insight into the rule question at hand (ahem), of course.

Don't forget the Animate Rope spell. Also we should start figuring out how many atonement spells you all will need for getting this entangled with a chaotic evil being.

Honestly, I am thinking after participating in this thread, the succubus might be in need of an atonement as well. What IS the evil counterpart to this spell, by the way? Detonement? Harald's efficient blink puppy kicker?

She'd probably just get commendations and have other succubi asking to trade secrets :)

Must... resist... {roll for Will save: (1d20 - 3 - 4 ⇒ (10) - 3 - 4 = 3) against DC 17 = Failure} (Oh well, I tried.)

At St Trinian's, succubi receive several years of extensive one-on-one and group lessons to become cunning linguists. :D

This thread just took up 45 minutes of my night shift, at which point i was getting funny looks from my co-workers about laughing out loud.

Another note, now I want to turn the second succubus in WoTR into a grappler and have her room set up for BDSM.

Really make the LG Paladin and Cleric work to keep their status, mind you the CG fighter/rogue of Calistra might have a go at her.....er have to show her what the goddess of revenge has to say about evil beings.

I will take detailed notes.

Edit - The ftr/rog is a TWF so lets hope he can manage all those extras the succy has to offer.

Might I suggest using the Greater Whip Mastery to grapple with a whip, and keeping a hand free while doing so? You never know what she might want to do with that other hand...

And, of course, it made me think of the song "Tongue Tied", sung by the Cat, in Red Dwarf... Cat & Succubus, for the .... win?

Nonono, we mustn't make this a cake-walk for the Succubus. Make her work for those levels she wants to drain. We want to see some serious grappling going on!

Allow me to assist:

Major Wrath of the Righteous spoiler. Don't claim I didn't warn you!:

In Wrath of the Righteous, Arushelae, redeemed succubus, became fully redeemed so she wouldn't drain levels on performing "passionate acts" with a party member.

She approached the party sorceress, telling her that she "still had needs". The sorceress declined as politely as possible, and then her weasel familiar piped up. "You know, I could take care of that for you."
"WHAT?!?!?!"
"Well, have you been looking around for female weasels? Because I have, and let me tell you, the pickings are slim. So if she has 'needs', and I have 'needs', I just don't see what the problem is here...."

Cue Anthropomorphic Animal on him, then Enlarge Person (I had to rule that he counted as humanoid after the Anthropomorphic Animal. But I was willing to help out here...). She could Shape Change to a small female anthropomorphic weasel.

So yeah, the sorceress and cleric got very little sleep that night as the anthropomorphic weasel and the weasel-y succubus "satisfied her needs".

Epically hilarious session.

But now I feel dirty....
...and weasels and jokes with sexual innuendo? Those don't go together, do they?

Or dominate. I mean, considering the list of items we brought into this thread, and some of the posts, especially regarding tying up someone in a grapple, that could go both ways.
