Druid Wildshape option: Hybrid form

Homebrew and House Rules

Simple question: Is there a 3PP with something like this in it, or (unlikely) something in Paizo material I've missed?

It would be super-cool to have a druid pretending to be a lycanthrope. For reasons.

There doesn't seem to be, but there's no reason there couldn't be if you and your DM work it out. If you want, perhaps we can help you work it out here?

It's seems perfectly reasonable thematically, after all if you can fully transform into an animal at will, why couldn't you just transform part of your body?

Totem Transformation from the Animal Shaman archetypes could easily be described as a hybrid form. Ex: as a Wolf Shaman you get hairy and develop either powerful legs, a muzzle and animalistic eyes, or a powerful set of sharp teeth.

Unfortunately not compatible with the Mooncaller, which gets DR/silver.

If you're able to work with your DM you could also make a feat that essentially gives you a particular totem transformation, maybe with Aspect of the Beast as a prerequisite. Give a mooncaller that custom feat and you've got a pretty convincing lycanthrope.

I don't really need to work with my DM. I am the primary DM in my group, but the secondary DM is very RAW centric and doesn't like a lot of homebrew, so it helps to convince him if I have more professional material to build off of.

But barring any existing products, I will work at creating such an option for druids in my games. Good thinking using the shaman transformations and Mooncaller.

Any other suggestions?

You could also take an Awakened animal, throw a permanent Anthropomorphic Animal spell on it, and let it use Alter Self (or the druid's Thousand Faces) to appear as a normal humanoid. Its "hyrbid form" would be its true anthropomorphic animal form. It's a bit more complicated, but could be an interesting twist. Note that this NPC would be animal type.
