From prior years and experience, I think the answer will be no.

Sorry but I suspect that is still the case this year.

Hopefully it's not a major auto reject mistake (like over word count).

Yah, I accidentally clicked on Submit before italicizing the spells used for the construction of my item ...

No.

Which is why we suggest you check your item, hit preview, check it again, wait, check it AGAIN, then preview it AGAIN before you hit "Submit," because once you submit it, there's no going back.

No, No, NO!

Don't do this - do not talk about your entry in ANY way that breaks anonymity. You just turned a very minor flaw into grounds for disqualification!

I'm sure lots of people failed to italicize their spells.

Raises his hand :(

All the naught people - go to the if you don't want to win thread and scroll through my posts on page 1. About halfway is a link to a round 1 detailed thread that tells you much about formatting, links the auto rejects and even explains submitting in detail.

Go. Read it. Now.

And don't do it again!

Also remember that failing to italicize spells isn't grounds for disqualification, or even necessarily for people to vote against you. It's one mistake, and likely there will be dozens, of not hundreds of other entries with similar or worse mistakes.

If the item is awesome, a little formatting can be forgiven. Same with pricing and some other technical things. They're far less important than that first 'awesome' factor.

That's my hope. Every single year after I submit, I notice something and go "oh crap!!"

Except this year, of course ;) *ahem*
