Question Regarding Pawn Art

Beginner Box

My players have all chosen pawns for their PC's from the BB pawn set for our RotRL campaign and I was wondering if anyone knows which publications the art on the PC pawns came from originally, specifically the male elf cleric, the male human rogue and the male human wizard?

Im pretty sure they appeared for the first time in the Beginner Box itself.

With the exception of the cover, all the art in the Beginner Box is from other Pathfinder books.

Unfortunately we've published enough books (including many that I didn't have much to do with) that I can't remember where most of the pawns art pieces come from.

Most of the art from the BB was recycled to help keep the costs down (art is super-expensive, and we wanted the box to be affordable for everyone).

The male elf cleric comes from Pathfinder 17: A Memory of Darkness.

The male human rogue comes from Pathfinder 38: Racing to Ruin.

The male human wizard (one of my favorites) is from the Sargava chapter of the Inner Sea World Guide.

Thanks, Crystal! She's on the art staff, she knows this stuff. :)

Brilliant, thank you both very much :)

Just to beat the dead horse one more time, I'd love to see these pawns released as a separate product. ;)

Between the Bestiary Box and the NPC Codex, you should pretty well be covered. :D

I expect the NPC codex will be great for me, but I'd really like *these* pawns, too! You can never have too many possible looks for Player Characters, in my opinion. :)

Agreed!

One thing I've done: I've purchased quite a number of the printable paper minis from Arion Games. The guy there does a really nice job making characters from 3D models, and there are a lot of good PC looks he's got in his various products. You have to print them out at about 4/3 the size so they match the scale of the Pathfinder Pawns (I've got Bestiary Box). Also, I fold them differently; I don't use their own stands, but fold the bottom part back underneath and into the character itself, making it into a pawn that I can use with the bases from the Bestiary Box. (This is necessary because the cardstock I print on isn't nearly as heavy as the cardboard for the pawns, and they wouldn't stay in the bases without a couple of extra layers folded in.)
