Spear of Purity and alignment?

Pathfinder Online

So I was reading a thread( http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2p4tp?Undead-and-Alignment-in-PFO#7 ) in which it was stated that using a spell with the evil descriptor is an evil act.

This leads me to ask, will using a spell with the good descriptor(such as Spear of Purity) be a good act?

Well IMO killing outsiders, undeads etc... should be considered such. Actually IMO the easiest thing is spells with descriptors, could simply be limited to that alignment. IE you must be good to use spear of purity, you must be evil to use animate dead. IMO that's a pretty straight foward approach to minimize argument and reduce abuse.

Well keep in mind that evil creatures fight each other just as often as they do good creatures(for instance, Pazuzu v Lamashtu). Imagine a low level evil cleric working for a demon trying to control another demon's territory. I could see that cleric using spear of purity to deal with her enemies

If a cleric of Pazuzu can conjure a spear of purity that just seems wrong. I mean the cleric's power if an extension of his Deity. How the heck would he get the good mojo to pull that off?

To answer the original question: in the PFRPG casting Spear of Purity is a Good act, and it simply cannot be done by an Evil-Aligned cleric.

I think limiting many abilities by alignment is an effective but unpopular way to make alignment meaningful. e.g. Ki abilities require lawful alignment, while Rage abilities require chaotic.

Source? I have found nothing that prevents an evil caster from using spells with the good descriptor.

Sorry, it's only clerics and druids who "can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity's (if she has one). Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaotic, evil, good, and lawful descriptors in their spell descriptions."
