that has to be the most ridicules thing I have ever seen you say.

You "saw" me "say" something? Guess only online would you "see" someone "say" that ;-)

We'll we can just agree to disagree. Ridiculous or not, IMO, earning the right to play high level has merit. But, since I am not in charge of making rules, and I follow the rules put forth, I accept high-level pregen play. It's really no different that a thousand other opinions that abound about a thousand other aspects of PFS.

Play, Play, Play! Was taking out of the guide quite awhile ago...

That may be true, but it still exists in function. The core ideal of Play! Play! Play! was inclusiveness and I think everyone does everything they can to accommodate every player, even if that means over-using extreme situation rules like allowing replay, seven-player tables, etc. The only thing that has really changed is the very small minority of players that can no longer use it to push the idea of inclusiveness to ridiculous levels.

Parts of it does, the actual rule parts were taking out and spread about... Like you said the part that drove me crazy that people read as they can break any PFS rule they wanted all in the name of Play, Play, Play! was ripped out and removed. (End the term Play, Play, Play! as well)

I think one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that Modules are a completely separate product line from PFS. ... I personally wouldn't want to play a pregen in a module, it's something for your character to experience.

Summary: Module chronicles were intended for when you would be playing the module anyway so there shouldn't be pregens for every module level.

Non-optimal is not the same as not necessary. At my regular PFS game we mix in a module from time to time for variety and because the players want it. Just a couple months back I had excited new players show up to play as we were starting a module and they played 4th level pregens. Am I to tell them, "I'm sorry, you haven't earned the right to play this module yet so you can come back in three weeks" and hope they do, or should I allow them to jump in, play well with a little coaching and use the chronicle as an incentive to make their own characters? I was able to let them play and they did well and they are now regulars.

Anyone who calls for getting rid of the ability to play a pregen in a particular tier is directly impacting my ability to recruit new players and making more work for me. Modules are now part of PFS and should not be marginalized. My players ask for them and when we offer them at conventions they sell out. When the choice comes up to play a pregen or not play at all, they choose to play a pregen. You may not want to play a module with a pregen, but I have never had anyone tell me that when it came to sitting at a table or not.
