Recently ran through Citadel of Flame: this guy infuriated me to no end!

Anyone else remember a scenario villain in a special way?

Damn memorable villain:

We were playing on tier 4-5 and there was a particular pain in the ass sorcerer who was causing us a lot of trouble.. and expenditure of resources. After defeating the fire elementals we entered the citadel and started to explore. Several noises and footprints in the sandy floor caused us to investigate the sauna which detonated the fireball which we survived (although some barely). After lots of wand healing, we continued on only to be targeted by a rather annoying beach ball of fire. Running away seemed a good option after the Summoner peered into a uncovered peephole and was stabbed in the face by a dagger.

Moving to the other side, we encountered another fireball of which again we all survived. The Samurai in the group was pretty ticked off and so rushed into another room to gain entrance to the 5th room we were sure existed. Bursting into that room he was met by the rather unkind villain who proceeded to shocking grasp him to death ...like way way way below death. In the same round my Musket master managed to crit the sorcerer for 49 points of damage killing him instantly

By this time however we had expended a large amount of wand resources in finding this guy and for the first time in playing Pathfinder I found I had never before wanted to kill something so bad as I did when my character pulled the trigger on the musket to kill our hidden enemy.

Sadly while we offered the Samurai's player didnt want to come back from the dead, but perhaps I think that meant that I could use the situation as a sense of rage for the rest of the adventure. I really wanted to kill off the cult now as they had killed one of our own.. and a friend of my character.

Kafar. Oh, Kafar. And that little twerp Nefti, too. Spent more hours being screwed over by him than any other villain yet.

The Cult of Lissala as a whole. After the Race For the Rune Carved Key incident, Mr. Damocles (Holy Risen Librarian of Abadar) is on a cultist hunt. Blow holes in *MY* church will you...

They tried to fix it for you with walls of stone. (I bet those are a pain in the butt to clean up after)

Does Ekkie from 4-01 count as a villain? Probably not, but she sure is memorable. :-)

- Imrizade from Voice in the Void (for being different)
- Dalsine from Dalsine Affair (zap)

- Yiddlepode from Sewer Dragons of Absalom (for being cute)
- Creely Greeves from Sewer Dragons of Absalom (for being a total jerk)
- The "friend" in Midnight Mauler (for being 'super')

- Abysiel Greensummer from Delirium's Tangle (fight setup)
- Zoathrias from the Darkest Vengeance (fight setup)
- Pathfinder in First Steps Part 2 (for roleplaying)
- Boss in Haunting of Hinojai (unusual enemy)
- Boss in Rats of Round Mountain Part 1 (unusual epic enemy)

There was a Boss in Hinojai? I just remember Smite, charge, crit, smear...

The Dalsine Affair, owwwww

Final fight in Dalsine Affair:

The final fight is with a Magus. At Tier one weilding a scimitar and fully buffed he was swinging for some hefty damage, and when he crit's - ow! Especially for level 1 and 2 characters. Three people died, one was down and another was barely alive. My gunslinger was not hit but was running around the room shooting.
The party members were mere speed bumps to him as he tried to reach my gunslinger as he was the only one hitting him (thank goodness for touch AC) and I ended up killing him.
But it was a rough fight.

I had a similar experience with this battle, actually. Melee cleric crit, "boss" gone.

Funny. I've never had a party get gold or loot from this boss. It always results in a TPK/PPK.

My most memorable boss is one Jason S mentioned - the BBEG in Delirium's Tangle. It's worth the rest of the scenario just to fight / GM it. Loads of neat mechanics going on there.

Walls of stone? I heard someone mention those...I however had the wisdom to jump out a window as swiftly as possible. (Start enlarge person in surprise round, finish it in the 1st, enjoy the haste the other sorc tossed, and out the window I go on my move action)
