Can anyone point me to a list of adventures and/or PFS scenarios that take place in the best country in all of Golarion?

Vive le Galt!

Pathfinder Wiki: Category: Adventures in Galt

EDIT: Disclaimer: Back in the day, I, also interested in Galt and its revolutionary theme, bought Flight of the Red Raven and To Scale the Dragon. I was disappointed to find that neither adventure did anything with the revolutionary aspect. (Requiem for the Red Raven hadn't come out yet, so I don't know about that one.)

Thank you, Aaron, but is there really only three?

Unless you count fiction, then as far as I know, yes.

Pray tell, good sir Bitman, what is the fiction?

Well, you can read The Secret of the Rose and Glove and The Perfumer's Apprentice by Kevin Andrew Murphy, or The Seventh Execution by Amber E. Scott, on the blog for free.

Then there's the Tales novel Plague of Shadows by Howard Andrew Jones. That has a prequel, also set in Galt, which you can also read for free on the blog. It's called The Walkers From the Crypt.

There may be more, but I have to go.

Hip hip hooray!

Hip hip hooray!

Hip hip hooray!

And no one can deny!

Yeah, I'd be willing to say that we need an AP that takes place in Galt.

One reason for that is me wanting to try out a Grey Gardener character some day.

I didn't buy Paths of Prestige for nothing, and Paizo better prove me right when I say that!

On the one hand, I would love to see an AP about Galt, on the other hand, I'm sure it would be full of Paizo's reactionary lies about the Glorious People's Revolution.

Which is why I am going to make my own campaign, one that tells the truth about the struggle of the workers, peasants and goblins of Galt.

Down with Paizo!

Vive le Galt!

We really need a Galt AP, where the Good, Brave people of Andoran put a stop to the Wicked, Murderous and Smelly revolution in Galt. ;)

I can only hope it will also tell the truth about the surviving nobles of Galt, who were good and just stewards of the people, until they were forced from their estates by jealous riff-raff. It should also mention the struggle of living in exile when you just know the riff-raff is emptying your wine cellar one bottle at a time.

Galt AP?

Not to mention, you should have a character who's a faithful servant to the deposed nobility, like the fool from King Lear, but a goblin.

That's a pretty neat AP synopsis, but knowing Doodlebug he wouldn't buy any of them past book 2 in order to have some sort of "permanent revolution" or something.

Part Five ends with a power vacuum that will probably be the downfall of the current regime (the one which PCs served) so it might fit his needs.

EDIT: Now I think that part 2 and 3 could be exchanged with each other. Five and six too, making the saving of the trapped souls a way of gaining power to topple law-infused Renkrist.

Ooh, good stuff, Citizen Drejk!

I will be sure to steal tons. After excising the bits that stink of plutocratic stoogery.

And, yes, there was going to be a goblin jester (theoretician, actually, but, whatever) but I will change his name from Doodlebug to Dicey.

Also, [smacks Dicey]

How many Goblins do plan on featuring? My homebrew really does have a Manse Dice with a goblin kennel, and includes Dicey, Doodlebug and Pillbug as NPCs.

Anyhow it's your campaign; Doodlebug should definitely get top billing. I just think casting him as anything but a rabble-rousing firebrand is a horrible misuse of the name.

Yeah, you're right.

I was hesitant at first because every single campaign I've ever run for these guys has, at some point, featured a goblin named Doodlebug Anklebiter, but seeing as The Black Goblin has lately been very bad indeed, I might not be running it for the same group of people.

To be honest, I was just going to start out with the Kobold King modules retrofitted for Galt, but Citizen Drejk's link has inspired me aspire for more. I'm sure that will pass in a few hours, though...

Also, if this is true, yay!! My time on these boards isn't completely wasted!

Man, the more I think of it, starting the AP in a Fun-Timey Reeducation Through Labor Supercenter is the awesomest idea ever.

Especially if you cooperate with players to determine cause for their impris... er, reeducation. Prepare a number of campaign traits and tie a specific plot connected to each that will come into effect in later parts.

Yeah, I like it!

My party took a jaunt through galt once, had to get info on a dragon from a professor who was beheaded by the final blade. Can't speak with him while he's trapped in the blade, it was a fun foray into the bezzare world of Galtian politics for a paladin.
Damn xenophopic nationalists tried to lynch him because he looked all noble in shiny armor, trying to talk them down didn't do any good.

"good people, I've taken care of the anheg infestation of your fields, you can grow food again"
*rabble noises* "it's a trick!" "he's a nobleman" "they want to make us slaves again"
"wait, no, I just wanted to help you so you didn't starve"
"get em"

Thank god a steed is faster than an angry mob.

[scribbles furiously]

Oh, I'm stealing that, too!

Vive le Galt!

Obviously the title of your thread contains an error... for the greatest, bestest and most majestic empire on Golarion is known as Cheliax! Now, I'm convinced that you will immediately realize your mistake and correct it without delay, -- therefore I do not need to inform any high-ranking Galt-based sleeper agents of our beloved Inquisition of your unfortunate slip of the tongue.

All hail Cheliax, Empire Eternal! All hail Almighty Asmodeus and the Blessed Majestrix!

Get out of here, you stooge of the plutocracy!

Down with Cheliax!

But the Revolutionary Council had commanded the people to raise ankhegs for the war effort!

Do you think that cabbages will stop the counter-revolutionaries?

It's true.

Is Galt named for Ayn Rand's 'John Galt' in Atlas Shrugged? Revolutions and all that nonsense? I kind of hope not, but inspiration can come from all over.

Love me some Galt though

I like to think it was coincidental (only so many syllables can go into fantasy country names, you know?) but, recently, I attended an anti-war rally with a "Vive le Galt!" sign and I got sick of fielding questions about Ayn Rand, so I hid it and carried my "Deafeat U.S. Imperialism!" sign instead.

Vive le Galt!

My old D&D campaign character was named Galt. After the end of campaign he replaced Fharlanghn as the god of travel.

I think it's more because it sounds close to Gaul and has this whole French vibe going.

There is also a Galt in California that I drive through occasionally.

This thread reminded me of that whole debate on whether a Paladin could take Gray Gardener levels or not.

Also, since it's apparently mainly an Inquisitor Prestige Class, I wonder now which deity's followers fit that one best.

IIRC, there is also a Galt in Daniel Abraham's The Long Price Quartet.

No reign of terror, though.

:(

In Swedish, Galt is the word for a male pig. Gotta say it seems a rather "interesting" place for somewhere populated by a bunch of boars.

You traitor can't even wait against next Lottery to start discriminating against The ONE and TRUE Republic of Golarion ???

You can't even wait until next National Lottery, can you ?

Hmmm ... interesting. Need start actively thinking now about your punishment, and get dirty creative.

For the others : Buy our Tickets and find out who is Traitor Next !
OR ELSE !

Brothers and sisters, you are being robbed! You are being lied to!

Kajehase has been a boorish reactionary since the days when he used anti-working class raksasha Lord Glorio something or other from Korvosa as his avatar!

Get him!

Ha! Amen, uh, brothers and sisters! I've been saying this for years, but did anyone listen to me? In the Sacred Name of Asmodeus... GET HIM!

In the name of the popular front, unite with the devil-worshippers to get the rakshasa! Get him!

I'd advise a shift in tone, whoever you are. I may be Chelish, but I hate House Thrune with an undying passion.

Also, I have heard the name Milani before, but I have no prayers to offer to her. Maybe an acquaintance of mine does.

Thanks for reminding me about Milani. I can't believe I forgot such a cool goddess. Now to make an Inquisitor/Gray Gardener of hers...

Joining with the jackbooted oppressors of the Chelish nation are we now, "Comrade?"

Perhaps the glorious people's revolters should look at someone else, eh?

One step forward, two steps back, comrades!

First we'll deal with the Kajehase-Glorio-rakshasa Fifth Columnist, and then we shall turn on the imperialist Chelish Asmodeans!

I was surprised to find that there's no official Galtic language. So even if your player can speak French, all you'd be able to do is Taldane with an outrageous accent.

This is one thing I change when I GM.

My assumption has been that the Galtans claim that Taldane is Galtan then make Belgian jokes about the Taldanes.

So, necro-fu in light of recently watching Le Miserables... I'm all for this idea right now!
