I had a question about new characters and tieflings... im new to pathfinder society... i played a pregen character in a local (sanctioned) convention... got my ID# and everything... how do i register a character online? the only thing i see is a little blurb about new characters...
i also want to play a tiefling... i downloaded the pathfinder society guide, additional resources etc... i wanted to know if i am allowed to play a tiefling with a fiendish heritage... specifically grimspawn... ndhave the "DR 2/cold iron" racial trait... is this allowed? i saw it said in the "additional resources" the fiendish heritages from "blood of fiends" are allowed can someone help me?
If that is the trait in blood of fiends it is legal.

A heritage that comes pre-made, 'off the peg', is legal, but they don't want people rolling stuff on the random tables, since it would be impossible to audit.
The racial trait you are referring to is not what I was thinking you were referring to, in my first post, instead of the part I bolded previously, this is the important part.

echoing the above, You can play a Grimspawn Tiefling assuming you have purchased either the hard copy or the PDF of "Blood of Fiends", but you are not able to use the Variant Tiefling Abilities printed on pages 16 & 17 of that book. Otherwise my Pitborn Tiefling paladin would have a 22 Charisma :D
Does Blood of Fiends have every racial trait and power that makes up the base class of Tiefling or does it simply alter what is presented in the Advanced Race Guide? B/C if the latter is the case you need to own both Blood of Fiends and the Advanced Race Guide.
Blood of Fiends does not have the alternate racial traits presented in the Advanced Race Guide like Vestigial Wings, or Prehensile Tail, so you'll need to own both books if you wish to fully personalize your character. That's what I love about Tieflings though, They're so moldable. It's almost like having access to the racial creation section of the ARG
