Its worth pointing out that the reason this is a PFS question is simply that in a normal campaign the anwser would be "No, not a chance, are you insane?"
but with the number of darkness fights in PFS it might be worth it.
3rd level: Fireball (need some direct damage), Displacement or Heroism(?) (she seems to focus on buffing?), or Dispel Magic.
4th level: Black Tentacles
Feat: consider getting Dimensional Agility

Really?
Please understand I have to take your advice with a grain of salt as you seem to write, if not a lot of, then at least the most memroble of the "Deeper darkness at will + NPCs can still see + loads of SA"

Rats part 1.
Also for what its worth, the unstable cavern+hidden swarms in the rubble were fun. DD past and run RIGHT into 2 advanced gugs? nice touch. That was one of the best supprises I have had in a while.
I love a challenge, but the lights out, now you die thing happens a lot.
Back to your advice.
Yes she built the character to go first and drop buffs.
we think 4th may be Emergency force sphere from the cheliax book.
You do make a good point that some DD would be nice and we may take you up on the fireball idea, its not great, but it sure is a lot of fun.
If she is just concerned for herself. I wouldn't invest the feats just to negate darkness. She should be getting access to 5th level spells soon. And that means she can pick up Echolocation
Or is she trying to find a way to blast the dark dark dark away for everyone around her?
A dayfinder is normally enough. Combine that with an oil of daylight. As long as their DD is a SLA, they can't counter your daylight. If they have access to dispel magic, you can ready your own dispel magic to counter theirs. Normally I prefer something like fireball to counter casters, but dispel magic has a chance to counter everything and auto-cancels dispel magic.
Really her best role at high levels is to identify another caster and if there is one, waste her turn to counter (by blasting and forcing a concentration check). If you have 3 bad guys to your 5 PCs, using your own caster to take out there's every turn turns it into 4 on 2.
Here's more advice. At 9th level, you need to PERSONALLY be able to deal magical darkness of the deeper variety, flying opponents or obstacles that need to be flown over, and invisible opponents.
She already has fly and glitterdust which is great. She may want to consider changing those as she gets higher in level. I would suggest upgrading to overland flight soon. I would also suggest getting a wand of glitterdust and knowing see invisibility. You can have both of those spells up for nearly the duration of the scenario.
i think it a perfectly good idea, heighten spell really isn't a bad feat. it is just unfortunate you cannot buy a metamagic rod of it. because you could just solve the issue with gold. buy a page of spell knowledge for continual flame for 4000g to get the spell, no need to use a slot on it, if there is some other way to raise the level of it i'm not sure. but the feat itself isnt bad thing to have.
This is an awesome emergency spell to have. Immediate action globe of force FTW. Perfect for when someone fails to keep the BBEG entertained or the GM just has it out for you (i.e. Kyle). Has saved my bacon multiple times. Only downer is that it's a 4th lvl spell.
I agree with everyone that by mid lvls you need to start thinking about countering darkness (and Greater variety) and invisibility. I took a Hand of Glory for my Barb. You get see invisibility and daylight once per day and an extra ring slot.
