Witch Hex DC Questions

Advice

Hey,

I'm interested in playing a Witch Multiclass and im wondering how exactly the dc for hexes would work. I ask this because when it describes the bonuses for hexes it states the witchs' lvl *so does that mean class lvl, caster lvl, or lvl in general*

If I was a witch 1/rogue 5 with 14 int.
would my hex dc be
10 + 2 + 1/2 witch class lvl
10 + 2 + 1/2 caster lvl
10 + 2 + 1/2 lvl

It literally means the level in Witch.

So in your example the DC would be 10 + 2 Int +1/2 Witch level

From the Classes section of the core rulebook, under Multiclassing:

Quote:
Note that there are a number of effects and prerequisites that rely on a character's level or Hit Dice. Such effects are always based on the total number of levels or Hit Dice a character possesses, not just those from one class. The exception to this is class abilities, most of which are based on the total number of class levels that a character possesses of that particular class.

(Emphasis mine.)

I'd suggest with just 1 level in Witch and 14 int to avoid the offensive / save-based hexes.

Your call, though.

Sorry for the necromancy, but would there be any way to boost these DC's?

Silver Crusade

Hexing Runes and Corset of Dire Witchcraft can each increase the DC's on one hex.

Thanks!

If your GM allows you to take it, Ability focus will also work.
