They are proficient with every single bladed weapon. The list they have is not exhaustive, but examples.

Its sword like, not bladed.(and apparently knife like) If you want your tengu to be axe crazy you need another way to get the proficiency or just spend a winter at the overlook Hotel.
Swordtrained: Tengus are trained from birth in swordplay,
and as a result are automatically proficient with
swordlike weapons (including bastard swords, daggers,
elven curve blades, falchions, greatswords, kukris,
longswords, punching daggers, rapiers, scimitars, short
swords, and two-bladed swords).
The eastern weapons on the other hand could be anything eastern, Bo staves, meteor hammers, and yes you could pick up Katan and NoDachi with it and loose very little for dropping swordtrained.
Exotic Weapon Training: Instead of swords, some
tengus are trained in exotic weaponry. Such tengus choose
a number of eastern weapons (Ultimate Combat 131) equal
to 3 + their Intelligence bonus, and gain proficiency with
these weapons. This racial trait replaces swordtrained.
Note that if you're proficient with something like the bastard-sword or katana, you're proficient with it one or two handed.
