Pirate Rob wrote:Just to be clear Chris, do you actually have an extra City Streets Flip mat, or just some random one? I've got plenty of flip mats, I just happen to be missing that particular one.I have three city street flip mats. they're all packed for the con.
Sweet. Thanks.

Before I draw them all out tonight. Anyone got an extra copy of the various custom locales for the special?
Dan,
I'll print you a set since I need to re-print my own. I'll get you a map of the Cathedral and the other locales in Act 3. I hand draw the map for Act 2.
Just remember that a few locales in Act 3 do not have maps. If you need anything else let me know Thursday before oh, 2:30pm Central time, as that is the latest I can get maps created and/or printed and still leave on time.

In case you didn't see my email. I am good now. I ended up just printing them out. When I meant custom also, I meant the ones that weren't flip mats. The only one that I ended up buying specifically for the special was the cathedral and that was because I'd seen it come up at least 2-3x in other scenarios.

This was my first time going to Gamicon Chi. It was by far one of the best cons I've been to. The players were fun, the other GM's were great. I got some great ideas for my own cons from it.
I even got a Midnight Madness session in of #2-12 Below the Silver Tarn which apparently is a sleeper scenario of awesomeness.
I was the highest voted GM at the con and was awarded a swanky Rune Giant courtesy of Todd Morgan.
I got lucky and was one of the few GM's who got a piece of Tyler Walpoole art that he graciously donated to 1 GM per slot at random.
I was the halfling that was literally dragged out of the "Auction" during the special by the Knee-Breakers. FYI...you can still see where my fingernails were scraped across the door as I fought not to be taken away to my doom. :)
Thank you Thea for convincing me to come out. Thank you Todd Morgan, Jim Tinklenberg, Wes Nicholson, Andy Christian, Jon Dehning, Mike Lindner, and all of the various players for making it the blast that it was.
I will be definitely coming out next year, and will be looking to convince as many Michigan players as I can to come as well!

Yarrr.
I had a blast, got to see some old friends and meet new great folks. Looking forward to visiting Minneapolis and trying some of that fancy dining.
Dang strait. And the first stop on this culinary tour is my kitchen. Might as well start with the best. Hell, we could never go more than 8 blocks from my house and sample some of the best food in this town.

Thanks to Todd and his fellow GM's who made this years event one of the best yet. Looking so forward to next year being even better.
Thanks again guys from all of us in Dubuque who attended. Oh almost forgot to thank Dan and the guys for a great Midnight Madness session. I was treated like one of the regulars and look forward to teaming up with you all again next year. To my Barbarian friend don't eat the watermelon...

Midnight Madness was great. I had fun playing with you. Thanks Dan for running that and Jim for having us in your hotel room; also to the other player as well (sorry I forgot your name).
And thanks to all the other GMs and players. I can honestly say I enjoyed every slot.

Todd, there was 6 of us from Dubuque at least in my group there may have been a few more.
I personally would like to get something going here in Dubuque just unsure where we could hold it and how to go about starting something. If nothing else we may have to come up there to play on the weekend again. I know Houze would like that for he suggested we need to come up there and play more.

If you've already got enough players there's nothing stopping you from playing in somebody's home.
Just buy, download, run and report the scenarios. Maybe take turns GMing, and have the GM not pitch in for dinner but get to eat for free.
If you run into any trouble or are at all concerned about the nuances of PFS ask on the forums or send Todd Morgan an email and he'd be happy to help, hell you could send an email to just about anybody on this thread and I imagine that they'd be happy to help.

Hi Dan! I'm Bob's wife. I'm not the boss of him, so there was no letting involved. ;) It sounded like he really enjoyed it!
And you being dragged out of the room was highly entertaining.
Thanks for an awesome Gamicon, everyone! It was my first and definitely worth a repeat. I think I may have roped two more people into joining. I used my nat 20 for random schwag to give them the core book after one of them mentioned they were thinking about playing. As soon as we hear back, Bob's going to run a scenario for us.

Thanks for the suggestion Pirate Rob, we have discussed this but we already are doing the Adventure paths just finished one and just started Skull and Shackles.
Would like to personally eventually get some kind of con going here in Dubuque but need to first set up event or two to test to see who else in Dubuque is interested in Pathfinder Society outside my group.
