People play games and just don't GM at conventions?
I'll start listing you as my superior when you stop rolling D6's for Burning Hands :P
I don't think I've ever done that!!!!
pfft ... I could only hope to be as good as Kyle ... perhaps some day

Pfft...I watched you do it during The Dalsine Affair.
I was all like, "What spell are you casting, Thea? Because you declared Burning Hands, but are rolling D6's and counting out cone squares."
Personally, I think you did it on purpose because you have a serious fetish for that stack of purple D6's of yours. All of your characters probably use Greatswords, or scimitars, or short swords and so on. If you shoot ranged you use a short bow...just to make sure you roll your D6's.

Pfft ... I was tired ... shhhhhhhhhh... besides .. the mondo stack of purple d6's always scare the jebus out of at least one player on the table hehehehe

Every so often I'll grab a pile of D6's and pick a certain color(s) and roll them all out in front of my players, and only use the certain colors to determine what happened. The looks on their faces are great when I roll, and when I say the damage amount. I especially love it when one of them starts counting the damage "to help". lol

There may be a smidgeon of sadism in me. :P
OOoooooo if i use two colors of dice ... and roll more than i need ... i can just pick out all the 6s right?

With Who's Yer Con only a week off from this and limited vacation time I don't think I'll make it out for this one.
So I see the purple one has joined the Twin Cities PFS. Does that mean she plans to attend Con o' da Norf?
Lol .. nope can't make it ... the con has been infiltrated by the nameless one ;) ... was going to try to play this sunday but all the spots for blackros are filled :/

Are you in town? I might be able to rustle up a few folks to play Blackros if you want.
Well .. I played Blackros Matrimony this weekend ... and since I'm GMing it at Gamicon thought I'd post here ...
I have some awesome ideas on how to spiffy up the roleplay aspects of this sceanrio ... and trust me when I say to bring your RP hat vs. your combat hat ... well worth your while :D
I've signed up for almost every slot. I just need confirmation from work that I can have Friday off and I'll sign up to GM 4-01 on Friday to fill that last spot.

Now that Winter Fantasy and M-Dog are behind me. I'll begin to prep the few scenarios I've not run for Gamicon.
Todd, would you like to see if Mike will let me switch out 1-2 of my slots for some bonekeep? I have it prepped and ready...minus a map since that was provided at WF.
I,d love a chance to play bonekeep, also when are we expected to get the scenarios, and is there any chance on some organization for the special so we can prep fewer than 6 tiers?
Well, I -think- I may be attending Gamicon, still not 100% sure - trying to convince a buddy that work is optional during a con ;)

Lol ... if there is a convention, then work is most certainly optional
Ugh, my Supply Train Management trip to China is pushing my March 8th meeting further into the evening. However it is still scheduled to finish at 5pm in Cedar Falls so I should have enough time to make it for my 7pm Friday night slot.
Although at the moment it looks like we have a plethora of judges for Golemworks anyway.
I will let you guys know if things change further.
A GM had some personal issues and is no longer able to make Gamicon so there are a couple of slots open for any last minute GMs that want the awesome GM grab bag that we give out up here in Iowa City.

Up? Iowa City is considered 'up' now? Hm... Must adjust sense of place.
Is Minneapolis considered 'low Earth orbit'? Can one achieve escape velocity on Interstate 35? Look man, I don't want to spend the rest of whatever circling Cedar Rapids.
Seriously, I'm looking forward to the con and feel bad that I cannot pick up additional slots.
We have been blessed from on high! This year's charity auction boon is a one of a kind convention boon that very few in the world will have, the Bag of Goblin Birthing! It is both amazingly cool and completely useful for ANY character you can build. The only way to get it is to come to this year's Gamicon and bid on it.
This year's charity is is the local VA Hospital. Let's help those wounded veterans and see how high this auction can go.

I just looked at Warhorn and realized who your missing judge was.
We'll miss you Kyle Baird.
