PFS GM Stars Don't Appear on the other Forums?

So I just posted in a forum outside of the PFS area and noticed my GM star didn't appear next to my name. It's not a big deal or anything but i just thought it was weird. Is this normal behavior? If so, why?

The thought seems to be that it's not relevant to the rest of the forums.

Interesting. I would think that the stars would spark curiosity from non-PFSers and be a good in-house marketing tool to get more folks involved in organized play.

Many share your view. ;)

Yep, stars don't show, and the Venture Officers' titles/real names don't show either (unless they're weird like me and their real name is their forum name too)

I feel the same way about the stars as well, think it would be a good way to get people curious about pfs, but I'm not sure what kind of programming it would take to change it now.

Agreed!

Sparking curiosity was the reason behind display faction icons outside the PFS forums but I am not sure they've ever actually done much in that regard. As to displaying more PFS messageboards bling outside the PFS forums, I'm kind of against it. We're trying to make the messageboards cleaner and easier to read and adding bling goes against that goal.

I can appreciate the "cleaner, easier to read" concept but what's the difference between the PFS bling and all the subscription bling? <--- Mostly a hypothetical question as I'm not interested in creating conflict here. :-)

I know this is an old thread, but rather than statup a new one I would like to make 1 additional suggestion. I understand not wanting the clutter, one place where it might be nice to see stars however would be the Online Campaigns section since there are a large number of PFS games that take place there.
