Thrown Weapon Ranger Style

What would a Thrown Weapon Ranger style look like? what feats?

bump

Thrown weapons don't work so well in PF. You'd need unique class features to fix the problems with the style, more than giving bonus feats. Especially since unlike say... shield-fighting style (Shield Master, Shield Slam, Bashing Finish), there are currently no existing "uber" feats for throwing weapons that single-handedly redeem it as an option, as the example shield feats do for shield use.

If you still want to do it, though, Throw Anything and the UC feats to not provoke AoOs for throwing and throw 2-handed without needing a full round action (and iirc, can full attack that way) would be a given. All would be level 2 or level 6 feats. Not sure what you'd do for the level 10 options, throwing really doesn't have good high level feats.

Basically use either the TWF tree or the Archery tree. Rapid shot lets you do an extra attack with any ranged weapon, but you lose out on manyshot. You'll need the blinkback belt from UC and that's the only piece you'll actually need. Everything else is cake.

This thread caused me to look back at 3E and yearn for the past. So, I made a Fighter archetype for throwing, if anyone wishes to view.

Well you will want close quarter thrower feat somewhere in there. Let me think on this. Isn't there a knife thrower rogue archtype to get ideas from?

A thrown weapon style would be tough to come up with. I would include:

Quick draw
Two weapon fighting
Far shot
Precise shot
Deadly aim
Improved two weapon fighting
Improved precise shot
Point blank shot
Greater two weapon fighting

That's not an exhaustive list, but it might be a decent start.
