DEEP THANKS TO BILL, GREG, BLONDE FROG AND ALL THE FINE AMPHIBIANS AT FROG GOD GAMES FOR PULLING THIS PROJECT OUT OF THE MAELSTROM AND SETTING IT ON EVEN KEEL. YOU ARE SAVIORS AND HEROES OF OUR INDUSTRY!

Okay, now that all is said and done on this mighty Razor Coast endeavor, the punchline is APRIL FOOLS!!!!

I kid! I kid!

Seriously, though. A gigantic thank you to everyone. Obviously (but worth repeating), this could not have been done without you the fans. All the good intentions in the world from Nick, Lou, and Frog God Games could not have gotten this done without all of you getting behind the project. Razor Coast needed to see the light of day, and now thanks to all of you it will. I'm not ashamed to say that I was nervous at the very beginning wondering if the project would fund or not with all of it's inherent costs, but you have made a true believer out of me (or, I should say, "truer" believer, if there is such a thing). So again, a great many thanks to the fans of game, of Nick and Lou, and of FGG. And, of course, a very special thanks to Paizo and the many, many 3PP who jumped in to make this a success. I could not be more amazed at the outpouring of support this project received. Here in a few months when the books ship to everyone and yo get to hold your crisp new tome and piles of extras in your hands, I hope you all appreciate just how big a deal you were in making this happen and just how much we truly appreciate every one of you. It can't be said enough.

The thank-you-note from Nick almost brought a tear to my eyes. I'm so glad, we get RC and that, with any luck, Nick is back in the fray. *bows* Thank you, ladies and gentlemen! (Now let's see if the completed product can stand up to my review! ;P)

Indeed. I can't wait for my copy and to strut my ranger around on a 12 foot tall badass moa :D

Looks like I will have my copy of Razor Coast in plenty of time to work on a con game for October. Fur Fright may never be the same again. I will be using Fursona to make the pre-gens and make Razor Coast part of my version of Iron Claw using Pathfinder as the rules set. This is going to be glorious!

It boggles the mind to consider the journey that has been Razor Coast. A journey of troubled waters that has now ended with our arrival in the calm waters of Port Shaw. As someone who preordered the original offering and who followed the progress both on the Sinister Adventures forums and here on paizo.com, I'm absolutely thrilled to see this realized finally.

I can only imagine the burden that has been removed from Nick Logue's shoulders now and that thought is heartening. Nick, I hope the success of this Kickstarter sees your creative flame reignited and that we'll see your name on the covers of many adventures in the future. You're a good man and an amazing game design talent.

I raise my glass to toast to the success of this Kickstarter. To everyone from Frog God Games. To Lou. To Knick. And to all of my fellow gamers who helped make this finally happen. I cannot wait until Razor Coast stands on my 3PP shelf of gaming goodness and I can finally release the horrors of Dajobas upon my poor poor players.

Well said. All I can add is +1

Well said, Ravenmantle!

I'm writing a formal thank you letter for all you fine backers for the site, but it won't be up until tomorrow most likely (I am in rehearsal until late today - sneaking a post here and there, bad theatre teacher).

Quick word though: You all have brought me back to life. A year ago today, I planned on never putting fingers to keyboard again to create RPG content, and now after this humbling out-pouring of goodwill, support, kindness and enthusiasm, I feel the dark urge to design horrors that must be unleashed on your players once more.

There are not enough thanks in an ocean of thanks to express how grateful I am to you all!

More to come in an official format tomorrow.

WE DID IT! RAZOR COAST LIVES!

It's is all worth it to read this bit. Kudos Nick on surviving the storms and shoals of the past few years and returning home safe to port. Lou, I am amazed at your determination with making this happen. Kudos to you as well, this is a really epic story. FGG staff: You folks are truly amazing. You have raised the Kickstarter to a fine art. Kudos, and I'll certainly be a part of whatever you brew up in the future.

I see what you did there ;)

Yes, please.

Nick, fecal matter happens. People fall down and hopefully get up again. Mistakes are made but human beings can learn. Wrongs can be done yet it's possible to be forgiven. I never had a horse in this race, but I think it's safe to say... it's behind us and today is a new day.

The past is just there to guide us to make better choices in the future.

Me, I plan to chose adventures you write, if I've got the option. If you'll give me the option.

Been there, done that, got a drawer full of t-shirts Nick! Congrats on gettting it done! My wife was the real pirate fan of the family but I must say this project has got me inspired! Look forward to May when we will have this in our hands.

Well, for my character, it devolved into a dung flinging contest. Good times.

Sounds like your group may be the ONLY one that played the scenario the way I envisioned it. :-)

Wait, you told me you envisioned that part as a LARP.

Went out and got a 1.5 gallon and cracked it open at tonight's game to celebrate! Announced the new campaign for 2-3 weeks after it's release. We are going to double DM it.

ok. who wants to have a Razor Coast release party at Gen Con sponsored by Kraken rum with Alestorm playing? I could figure out the costs and put up a kickstarter just for party and the Alestorm appearance fee...hm....

Lou you're a glutton for punishment!

Lou, Gen Con isn't until August. Wouldn't North Texas Con be more inline with the anticated release? Besides, I could actually make that one!

Can't make Gen Con but I am thinking of getting some Kraken rum to try it and I might try and get some brave souls to take on the adventure with me bribed with said libation.

I don't know about Y'all but I'll be singing sea shanties in Seattle come July. Some Kraken rum and a few dice and were golden!

Hoping to see some Razor Coast love at Round Con in Columbia, SC this year!

Funn, I have been GMing "Razor Coast" for 2 years! :) Can't wait to see what the actual finished product looks like and how far i have deviated from the setting, especially with some of the major NPCs.

It would be HILARIOUS if your campaign was nearly EXACTLY like the book. :-)

How long until the survey? I've been lucky so far, but it's possible that if I don't get it within the next day or two, I won't be able to answer it for the next 2-6 weeks or so.

which means you might want to rethink that plan.

Blond frog us heading on for vacation for 10 days. No survey until after that. I think she needs a break from all of this more than anyone.

Thanks again all for making this happen (now getting back in bed, been down with the flu for the past 4 days)

So the curse of Pele is still trying to wrap its ugly hands around us. We have been working out the issues with Kickstarter and Amazon funding first. While we wait for those issues to be resolved we will work on the survey. I go on vacation from the 1st thru the 10th so if we don't have everything by the 1st we will have it ready mid February. Meanwhile, Lou, Greg, and Skeeter are working hard to finalize all writing, editing, and development. We will keep everyone updated.

Take your time! =D

That's Great Pele. Not calling her Great Pele is likely what has her angry with us. That and Logue leaving Hawaii to begin with.

What's that soccer player guy so upset at Nick about anyway?

Wrong god, Greg. :). Of course, Pele loves kicking balls too.

Weirdly, there is a volcano in the Caribbean in Martinique, with an entirely different etymology, called Mount Pelée.

~with a very terrible reputation. The term Nuée Ardente originally came from that mountain. It means glowing cloud - a frightengly fast cloud of pyroclastic debris and gas racing down the mountain to engulf everything in its path and vaporize all life.

I just received a link to the Razor Coast survey. I'm not seeing an option to add the Hero Lab file(s). Is that an error or did I miss something regarding the Hero Lab stuff?

I'm wondering the same thing Ravenmantle.

It is on the third page of the survey, the first three tick boxes are about herolab and d20pro

EDIT just put "1" in the appropriate box

They weren't when I posted my question but I see them now as well. :)

Scarab Sages

I had a difficult time lining up the boxes on the third page. Trying to figure out what line went with what box was tricky.
After carefully counting down from the top to make sure I got the right box, I figured out if I narrowed my browser window significantly, the boxes were close enough to the questions to be convenient. Hope it saves someone from having to count so many boxes. :)

Had the same issue. It is an issue for us with wide screen monitors it seems.

Liberty's Edge RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32, 2011 Top 16

I think I did my survey wrong - I put the dollar amount of the add ons in the boxes, not the quantity. Who do I need to email to fix this?

They'll probably figure it. If not they will email you I am sure.

But the main contact address is bill@talesofthefroggod.com

EDIT Actually Rachel seems to be running the organising of it: rachel@talesofthefroggod.com

Hmm. I wish I'd read this just before I filled in the survey rather than just after.
