My DM has set a task before me and I feel like my best chance of fullfilling it would be communicate with my character's mentor. Unfortunately, that mentor is in a city quite some distance away and there's no way I'll have to the time to go that city and get back.
Is there some spell that could give me the ability, even temporarily to communicate with my mentor? I looked at the "Sending" spell, but I'm not a caster (Monk), and the spell requires you to be "familiar with" the person you're trying to talk to. So I can't hire someone to send the message for me, because they wouldn't know my mentor.
Can anyone think of some other spell or magical means to achieve this goal? Like I said, I'm not a caster, don't ever play one, so I'm not aware of all the options that might be at my disposal, as far as hiring someone to get this message from one city to another.
Thanks!

Silver Raven (3,800 gp): This silver figurine turns into a raven on command (but it retains its metallic consistency, which gives it hardness 10). Another command sends it off into the air, bearing a message just like a creature affected by an animal messenger spell. If not commanded to carry a message, the raven obeys the commands of its owner, although it has no special powers or telepathic abilities. It can maintain its nonfigurine status for only 24 hours per week, but the duration need not be continuous. Moderate enchantment and transmutation; CL 6th; Craft Wondrous Item, animal messenger, animate objects.

Can anyone in your party cast Teleport? It's range is 100 miles/caster level. Or there's always Greater Teleport which has no range restrictions but it's a 7th level spell. If you happen to be in a city yourself of a decent size you could buy a scroll that one of your party casters could read for you: 1125gp for scroll of Teleport or 2275gp for Greater Teleport; by far the cheapest option.
