Augmented Summoning feat and subtypes

Rules Questions

Do creatures summoned with the augment summoning feat gain the augmented subtype?

They gain exactly what the feat says, and no more. Does the feat say they gain the subtype?

==Aelryinth

Thank you. I was getting myself confused.

Damn Umber Hulks gazing at me in my work cube!

Why would they?

Quote:
Augmented Subtype: A creature receives this subtype when something (usually a template) changes its original type. Some creatures (those with an inherited template) are born with this subtype; others acquire it when they take on an acquired template. The augmented subtype is always paired with the creature's original type.

Augmented subtype means that the creature's type was changed by a template (inherited or acquired). While Augment Summoning feat could be viewed as simple template that modifies ability scores, it does not change the type so there is no reason for applying augmented subtype.
