We promised that we'd have Chronicle sheets for these dungeon levels, but when they'll be available, I can't currently say. Mike and I haven't even seen the final book yet, and thus we can't really assess the best way to provide them. Should they be a different Chronicle for each level? Should it be one for the whole book? Et cetera. If we can get them to Kickstarter backers prior to the public release of the book, we will, but it might not be on day one of the PDF being available to backers.
I think there should be one for each level, each with a boon that comes into play at lower levels. Depending on their size, XP could be awarded on the final level based on the # of previous levels completed.
Also +1 for getting these out asap. Selfish and all.
If I read correctly, the dungeons under Thornkeep can bring a PC from level 1 to level 8 or so. So they're more like half-an-AP than a single module.
Of course, I don't know how details and involved each level is. I don't know if, say, Jason's level is as meaty as "Crypt of the Everflame." But let's say it is.
Then there might be a "3 XP, 4 PP" module-style Chronicle for each level. So Kyle's suggestion -- a boon for deeper levels -- seems reasonable.

If so, I'll be a *very* happy man. Great way to get some relatively new PFS players rolling.

If the dungeons per level have an enounter ratio less than a normal mod then a 2xp 3pp per level chronicle sheet would not be bad.
EDIT: Just read that bit about 1st thru 8th lvl I guess its something to consider but with only 4 flip maps that many encounters would be tough to fit...unless of course, you're Kyle ;)
A boon for completing the entire four levels without returning for the surface for ressurection/or supplies would be a good idea.
Looking forward to unleashing this baby at conventions.
Now that the PDFs should be coming out for the backers in a few weeks, do we have an ETA on the chronicle sheets for the dungeons?

As of a few weeks ago Mark and Mike hadn't even seen it themselves, so 'tis probably best to relax and chill and maybe we'll wake up one morning and find it new and shining on our additional resources page, as Gandalf might say, "unlooked-for".
I'd forgotten about these. I'm torn between running ASAP, and waiting for the Goblinworks game to come out for crossover potential. "You liked the video game? Watch this!"

I laughed, Mike. And not entirely cheerfully. I paid $100 for the Thornkeep resources, due out at the end of the month, and when I spend that kind of money on a hobby item, it is generally looked-for. I understand that Unfortunate Things Happen, and that I'll be getting the PDF instead of the promised hardcopy and flip maps, but I've been planning to run some Thornkeep at the local SF convention the first week of November, and it will be a major disappointment if that falls through.

I'm really excited about running it -- having Ed Greenwood do a level pushed me towards supporting it.
(I still remember his introductory adventure in "a grey box set for some other old roleplaying game set in some realm that I forget about" killing me over.. and over.. and over.. Really looking forward to more of that. ^_^)

Wow that was my 1st boxed set and boy was it good, kept me hooked for ....decades.
Yes, though they'll likely take less time than a traditional module, which usually contain around 20 encounters. It was simply easier to treat them as modules since we already had rules for them instead of creating new rules for these five dungeons.

Has anyone run, played or had a detailed look through 'The Accursed Halls' yet? If so, would you say it's suitable for a brand new party of level 1 PCs, or more suited to PCs with a few scenarios under their belt (either 1st level with ~1000gp of equipment, or 2nd level)?
Since this typo mentuiin seems to have been missed:

At least a couple of price typos snuck into the Chronicles.
Spoiler:
Both Sanctum of a Lost Age and The Dark Menagerie's chronicles offer the clear spindle Ioun stone at 5,000 gp. Per the Core rulebook, page 521, that Ioun stone costs 4,000 gp, instead.
But many thanks for getting them up in such a timely fashion.
Now I get to see if my new Saturday PFS group would be interested in adding them to the list of games to be played. :)
I know I plan to run at least one of these to get one of those specials boons for my witchhunter. I hope to see more of those metals make it into special chronicles.

I've a half elven Lore Warden in the back of my head who's squeeing for that metal too.
The errors (specifically non-technical errors) should stay in the Pathfinder Society forum (if they're Pathfinder Society related). Mike and Mark check these forums often :)
Anyone have some good lead-ins for the modules, for PFS society?
I started prepping and they're all largely dungeon crawls. I know we have some creative license sending in "pathfinders" to the module. Just polling the audience to find some nice ideas for lead ins as to why these 1st/2nd level characters are going into these accursed halls. =D
I recently ran The Dark Menagerie [5-7]. It took just over 5 hours. The group was 7 players (at least 2 maxed out builds). One of the players was almost trying to solo the adventure. The group moved along pretty fast, but I think 6 hours is a good estimate for this level. Also, based on the room sizes and creatures I think 5 PCs is optimal for this level. Any more and PCs will be getting in each other's way.
Spoiler:
The group did not fight the last creature so I'd give at least 6 hours for this level in case they do.
Also, when reporting the module I noticed the reporting page listed the "Forest Stronghold" and "Echo Wood" as two module choices along with the 5 dungeon levels that have PFS Chronicle sheets. Are there plans to sanction these two sections of the PDF? They don't seem to be clearly defined adventures.
