"The Shadow" a build for Pathfinder?

I was wanting to make a build based upon the Shadow, with the power to cloud men's minds. So I figured it would be based on a psionic class. Just wondering what other advice you all might be willing to pass along to me. Thanks

If you are using Psionics, then this is the wrong forum.

If not:

An Enchantment based Bard or Sorcerer sounds right with the flavor.

I would go for a bard with high ranks in the social skills and stealth. Perhaps a few levels of fighter or rogue.

You could also be a ninja and pick up the ninja tricks Vanishing Trick and Ventriloquism. Ninja invisibility is rather short, though.

If I wanted to use psionics, what forum would be better for this post? I like the idea of ninja, it or a rogue archetype fits in with my theme, but I think I want to stay away from the bard.

I think that an illusionist wizard/magus would make an interesting Shadow as well.

If you're going with the classic pulp Shadow then a straight Ninja works quite well as originally the Shadow's "superpower" was to be really good at stealth, disguises, and impersonating people. He was basically Ethan Hunt from the Mission Impossible movies with a scary voice. It was the radio dramas that introduced the idea of him being able to hypnotize people to not be able to see him.

But if you're going for the Alec Baldwin movie version then levels of Psionisist or Sorcerer would be helpful.

I see him as a ninja since I saw him for the first time. Possibly with levels in Shadowdancer.

hmmm.... i suggest Ninja/Shadow Dancer, maybe a dip into gunslinger so you can use a gun...
