New Combat feat...

Homebrew and House Rules

We're moving along further with our revision of existing combat feats to make advancement flow more smoothly and practically... but I'm always a touch leery when we add something brand new out of the blue, so I'd like to get your thoughts:

Daring Gambit
Once per day, as an immediate action, you can sacrifice your next turn to take a standard action.

I'd say it has a high skill cap, and if used correctly, wont even hurt hurt you. This will probably go really well with Vital Strike and spells.

I'd also say that it's new and awesome. I WANT to play test it, and I think I will next time I'm around a Game Table.

Once per day, as an immediate action, you may make a standard action. If you do, after the action resolves, you become dazed until after your next turn or combat ends, whichever happens first.

I'd go with something closer to that. Pretty much the same thing, I figure.

it seems a bit op in the right situations... What about making it more daring wirh a _2 to ac until your next turn?

I considered that and may still - that's not uncommon for such feats (like Lunge)... I just didn't wanting it to get too wordy.
