I'd like to see Gamemastery cards for the summon monster and natures ally lists. Sets of cards that contain the bestiary stats for these creatures for easy reference - obviously more than 54 would be needed, especially given the celestial/fiendish options so it could be done through a series of sets - outsider and elementals, celestials, fiendish. Stats one side, skills and abilities other side of card.

Pawns, similar to the ones currently available, with artwork showing a "Back" as well as a "Front" for those of us who still use older rules.

Ultimate Steampunk
Horrific Adventures
Ultimate Space Opera

Before reading the thread, this is my top ten sourcebooks I'd like to see. Not in order, so they're not numbered.

In advance, let me point out that the Advanced Race Guide (ARG) has set the bar for me, with it's three sections - great detail on part of the subject, limited detail on a lot more of the subject, and then a toolkit to use to create your own.

Secondly, with the advent of mythic rules, it would be really, really great to not have them ignored in subsequent sourcebooks. Instead, I'm hoping future books all include some mythic material.

  • Mythic Bestiary Yes, I'm sure the Mythic Rulebook will have creatures, but there's never enough, and additional rules for creating mythic creatures are never bad.

  • Manual of the Planes - I want this to be an ARG style book, with descriptions of the planes and a HUGE section on creating planes. And now that there's mythic rules, well .... :) Plus, The Great Beyond was written in that weird time where Paizo didn't like putting rules in their books, and frankly, some things need rules.

  • Distant Worlds Hardcover - I think the incredible speed with which the overview setting book sold out shows the need for this. Again, an ARG-style book with both coverage and a toolkit would be awesome.

  • Savage Species - The sheer awesome for the GM in the old 3.0e Savage Species book was great, and we need more of this - tools to expand on monsters, make them unique, and create our own. Yes, again, I point at the ARG as an example.

  • Weapons of Legacy - This has become one of my favorite 3.5e books, but if redone I'd like the balance between pre-fab items and the incredibly useful toolbox aspect to be weighted more in balance of the toolbox.

  • Darklands - Could be a 64-page campaign setting book, but we've had that, so ideally it would be a small-to-medium hardcover. Perhaps, like Distant Worlds, the setting book will be the proof of the pudding. Again, like the ARG, a mix of detailed coverage, light coverage, and toolbox would be idea.

  • Ultimate Mythic - I don't know what else to call it, but this is intended for those of us who do want to take their campaign one step beyond. I'm not talking about rules for ascension and the like, just additional mythic material intended only for high-level campaigns.

  • Environmental Sourcebook - I can't quickly come up with a cool name for this one, but rather than a handful of books with too much space taken up by prestige classes, new spells, and the like, I'd rather see a single hardcover that covers the wilderness rules parts of Frostburn, Sandstorm and Stormwrack. Sure, some new creatuers, spells, and the like would be nice, but I want the focus to be on hazards and adventuring, not on even more new PC options - there's a zillion PC options that are useful in the wilds already. I want some new stuff the PCs might not have encountered before.

  • Ultimate Bestiary - Not actually a bestiary, and quite different from the Savage Species book above, to me this is the same book as Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary - a huge hardcover of templates. Advanced Bestiary was one of the top 10 3PP books ever, and it is dying for a Pathfinder update.

  • Eldritch Horrors Revisited - Lovecraftian monsters get the revisited treatment. I would truly expect to see at least one prestige class along the lines of the alienist, as well.

  • Elder Evils - Another of my favorite 3.5e books, this set of world-ending campaign ideas was very cool, even if a bit low-power for my taste (and sometimes just silly). Overall, however, quite good, especially with the addition of the omen material at the beginning and the toolbox for powers of elder evils. Clearly this would have pretty strong ties to mythic material.

Okay, so it's 11. I guess this is the Spinal Tap of requests :)

Ultimate Weapons and Armor (UE was nice but I want more weapons and armor options, even if they are just reskins)

Book of Kaiju

Tome of Battle like book, with sample armies, formations, and scenarios where 100s of combantants can go at it.

AP set in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings

AP set before the Starfall

Hero Builder's Guide

Neanderthal race

And these that others have mentioned:

2)Bestiary 4
6)AP that the main villian is a dragon and all the other "bosses" are dragons or dragon related.

26)Shaman base class that is a cha based spontanous caster with the druid's spell list and totum animal/spirit instead of mystery/bloodline.
28)More Modules were you play as non-core races.
35)More Sorcerer bloodlines(Alchemist based, Witch based, Lamia, More celestial types, Law based, Giant, Sin/virtue based ones, Light based, Phoenix, Couatl, Time, etc.) <===== Ohhh yes Couatl
36)Gambler Archtype for Bard that uses cards as weapons, random magical effects, luck based abilities, etc.
38)More Oracle Mysteries(Love, Art, Music, Light/Sun, Darkness/Moon, Luck, etc.)
40)Rules/stats for more modern things like steam powered trains, flashlights, modern guns, bulletproof glass, modern body armor, steam boats, cars, etc.

41)Hardcover book of dieties- w/ domains, favored weapons, etc. of real world dieties from many different cultures such as Egyptian, Chinese, Norse, Greek, Aztec, etc. (I loved how Faerun explained how some of these gods showed up in thier world. Something similar for Golarion would ROCK! But Loki is CN NOT CE)

Colonization of Arcadia

51)Fey Touched playable race- kinda like Assimar/Tiefling but with fey.
52)Humaniod dog/wolf playable race.
53)Chaos based planetouched playable race.

I want to see

1. all of the Iconics in plastic mini.

2. More PC minis

3. More mundane minis (Animals, Town folk etc). How about an animal set.

4. How about a Complete Dragon set. That's a case to buy.

5. How about a character creation program done by Paizo. (Hero Labs is way too expensive). How about as we buy books we also get the content for the program at a small fee like the PDFs are. To get the basic content for Hero LAB it would be almost 200$.

6. Ultimate Spell PDF. No book as it would be out of date quick.

I would love to see an official Paizo class like this!

Until then, have you checked out New Paths #2: The Expanded Shaman from Kobold Press? I think you might find it to your liking :)

8) GameMastery Guide 2: More rules and guidelines for a GM

For item 3 -- an interesting title just popped up on the store blog. It isn't a Paizo product, but its title just happens to be "Ultimate Psionics".

bladen wrote:

How about buying those plastic animals toys instead? There are 10000 kinds of plastic and stone animals figures out there, isn't it a bit of a waste creating real animal mini's instead of cool non-excisting creatures?

I think you guys should stop asking for multiple bestiaries. We have a huge request topic for a Bestiary 4 and there's an Inner Sea Bestiary coming in November. Furthermore, monsters keep adding up with the Adventure Paths and other related books. I believe that the best option would be to have one major Bestiary regrouping these small ones.

I do have one request for a product that would be nice: a chieftain handbook. Take each and every tribal humanoid and monstrous humanoid make them into chieftains, with high class levels, like 10 to 15, and give them a short back story. Thoise would make great villains and patrons for the PCs.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

well it's a wishlist, not a "If you don't provide these books, I will call forth evil that will bring a 1000 years of darkness to Paizo"

It's what people would like, not what must happen.

I would seriously love to have an official version of Dreamscarred Press's Psionics content, but it's been said time and again that they don't have anything in the pipes for it right now. Admittedly, I have never and don't ever plan on playing in a PFS game, but having something official is still really cool.

In addition, I would REALLY love to see Pathfinder In Space content. Maybe an adventure path where you get abducted or rescued by a passing space ship, and the adventure eventually has to dealing with learning about, exploring, and fighting your way through the greater galactic society.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber

91)More spell-less archtypes for Rangers.

95)Pathfinder wall scrolls, art books, book marks, etc.
96)Way for monks to gain enhancement bonuses to there unarmed strike through feats and/or archtypes, plus the ability to use ki to add weapon special abilities like flaming, axiomatic, holy, etc.
97)Way to use cha instead of wis for monk ac/ki/etc. with feat and or archtype.
98)Softcover book of cultural taboos, superstitions, virtues, sins, laws, etc.
99)Softcover book of holidays around the world of Golarion.
100)A super 12 issue AP from 1st to 20th.

I would kill (fictional orcs and goblins) to see Paizo do a cool treatment of chronomancy. I loved the old 2E book and I think Paizo could really crush this topic. I've seen some third party stuff (Time Thief, Time warden) but they just don't capture the same timey-whimey fun the old 2E book did for me.

Now that Paizo is creating a sci-fi setting with Starfinder (which is freakin awesome news!), I would really dig seeing their take on a post-apocalyptic setting ala Gamma World. I'm talking about first and second edition fun and craziness...pure strain humans, mutants, mutant animals, androids, and mutant plants (with a huge random mutation table). You've already got a ton of material to build with from the Iron Gods material.

Keep up the great work!

Indeed! I'm down for that

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Another book I would drop coin on immediately would be a Pathfinder version of the third edition Savage Species book. That would be awesome to have the option to play monsters as characters and advance in either monster or character class levels.

I'd really like an addition to the now-on-hiatus Card line: Monster Cards.

I want a card with an illustration of every monster on one side, and on the opposite side a table (like those in monster books towards the end of the 3.5 run) with the results of knowledge checks about that monster i.e. Arcana DC20 you know these things; DC25 you also know this; DC30 you know this really obscure secret, etc.

Inkwell Solutions has several packs of cards with illustrations on one side, and generic info on the other (their system-neutral decks) but it's not organized by knowledge checks.

I would happily buy multiple decks for every monster in all 6 bestiaries just to have this easy access to knowledge checks about them.

Also, it's interesting & heartening looking back to the beginning of this thread, how many of these desired products have actually come to pass . . .

I would love a campaign setting book with all of the Kaiju.

can we get some pawns representing the occult iconics and bestiary?

1) NPC Codex 2... and 3 :P (Yeah, they would need 2 of them to cover the rest of the classes)
2) Dragon Empires Gods and Faiths
3) Monster Codex 2
4) Planar / Planetary Adventures (we had Mythic, Occult and Horror, we're pretty much set for planar and planetary adventures here ;) )
5) Books of the Sanctified (we had Books of the Damned... don't you think it's time for the Good-aligned outsiders to get some love?)

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber

Wow, this is almost 4 years old.

I would like to see a hardcover book that is focused on specific class features like kineticist elements/wild talents, sorcerer/bloodrager bloodlines, rogue talents, oracle curses/mysteries, medium spirits, rage powers, hexes, discoveries, etc. The book would have little or no spells, feats, archetypes, and magic items.
