Anybody know where I can find some miniatures for a kitsune character (anthropomorphic fox fey creature)? I've only found one, and it was of a female asian character. I'd ideally like to find a kitsune pirate miniature, but if I can at least get a selection in front of me, I can probably model the miniature to look the way I want.
Anybody have any leads for me?

That's a tough pick unless you're willing to convert. You've got an easier time if you're willing to paint a werewolf in fox colors, as well. Not sure if you're looking for male or female, either.
Here's some possibilities:

Sorry for the double post, but I found something a bit more appropriate. It appears to be a "Heroic Scale" which I think is usually between 25mm and 30mm.
They are called Fox Shnobi for a game called Brushfire.
In case the direct link to the picture doesn't work, here is the picture I found on another forum.
And here is a link to the shop for On The Lamb, who make the minis.

I have this one primed on my desk that I was going to make up as a kitsune archer.

@ghoti: Bought it, thanks. I'll have to do something about the otherwise atrocious paintjob.
@Liz: I've got that one too, from a pack of 3 were-creatures.
I can't think that Kitsune Archers are all that common, what with the -2 to strength. Mine uses a Darkwood light crossbow, since her strength is 7. One of other figures in the pack is cast with a seperate tail, so with that tail and the replacement heads upthread, you could turn almost any fig into a kitsune (if you're more talented at figure surgury than I am).

I'm going to be attempting some figurine surgery with that exact Kitsune Archer. I already have the thing on my desk, just waiting for the jewelry saws to come in, lol :D
I can't believe none of the mini making companies have made something for the Dragon Empires races yet. Whichever one manages to come up with them first should make a ton of sales.

For mine, I'm just going to get a kitsune mini that doesn't fit the class he's in, cut off it's head, and glue it to a mini that does word. Mostly because it's impossible to find a mini for a Kitsune Paladin.
That's what I do. I've made a kitsune fighter, a kitsune ninja, a kitsune magus, and a kitsune bard so far.
The bard's my favorite; I sculpted his head, legs, and tail myself. :-)

Sure they are; they just don't use composite bows.
A kitsune archer with Focused Shot (add Int to damage on one attack as a standard action) would make a lot of sense.

The best place to get kitsune miniatures at the moment is via HeroForge.com, since they added fox tails and canine heads as options for their custom miniatures. I was able to make a really cool kitsune pyrokineticist miniature using that site.
Here's a link to the model that I created: Hero Forge Kitsune Pyrokineticist
For other options, Stonehaven Miniatures has a pretty good kitsune swordsman, and Reaper is going to be releasing some kitsunes soon.
The problem with all of these is that they have only one tail though. >_<
