I really enjoy Fields of Honor. I played a 10 hour WWII miniatures game and the other players were really cool with teaching me the game. The VL out there, Derek Boobyer, will run a great event, so I encourage anyone in the NE, SD, MO area to come up to Iowa and have a great time.

I have volunteer training at my local crisis center that weekend, otherwise I would be there annoying the local GMs (I also took an arrow in the knee...).

So get out there and play some Season 4 stuff!

I'm currently planning to be there Saturday. I see that there aren't many people signed up on warhorn though. I'm looking to play the high level stuff in particular. Is it just that people don't tend to sign up or should I be concerned?

Is there an idea of how many tables will actually happen then? Are there enough high level players around the Des Moines area for those scenarios to realistically happen?

I attended this last spring and I think there were only 2 tables, but there are many more lined up on the warhorn site for this one.

I just don't want to drive up only to find that I can't play any of the stuff I want/plan to.
