young plus advanced equals +8 dex, +4mentals, size reduction CR0
i suggested on a monk thread the following build
garuda born aasimar monk
+10 dex, +6 wis, +4int/chr, throw in weapon finesse and AoMF agile weapon properties and you got a mega untouchable death machine. obviously these builds aren't serious but i would like to see what other people would make with this template. dont forget size reduction though.

Can it be any CR+0 template combo?

technicly yes, that point of this thread is mostly to prove and establish that stacking templates is very breakable and something GMs should carefully keep track of if they allow it.

Hmm... Young Lycanthrope Human.

You didn't specify it had to be simple templates. Plus I find this hilarious.

Alongside a Drunk Giant Halfling.

your right i didnt and im ok with that, now i suspect this thread will end up as entertaining as it is informative.
speaking of which young zombie catfolk, the most adorable flesh eating nightmares ever...though "young" might be a bit morbid in hindsight.

Why?

I just realized that the young template is the only Official -CR template out there. Which reminds me you didn't say that it had to be official. Which I take as meaning anything on d20pfsrd.com is fair game... I am going to have way to much fun with this...

My players will hate you for this by the way.

let them hate for tonight or rather this morning templated hell will be unleashed...or some statement equally sinister and dramatic. as for the morbid thing i just pictured a necromancer digging up dead kittens.

aboleth with young template x 5 then swarm template. player hate has officially been invited.

Can you apply a template more than once?

A cruel thing I am now going to do to my phallophobic player::

And add drunk template to that as well and you just get a hilarious image. Drunken Tentacled fishes swarming together in a school of a Hentai freaks wet dream.

by the way CR=2 (pours salt on wound).

there doesnt seem to be limiter but it wouldnt work due to a 0 str score, however do it instead to akhlut and you you got a swarm of tiny land sharks with 11 str and 35 dex, throw on zombie to ignore con being 0 THEN throw hungry template on...str 15, dex31, con-, int 4, wis11, cha6, tiny size individually plus swarm, all for CR8. lovely

Crud... gonna have to find a way to do it. Maybe young x4 it might not be CR+0 but still will freak her out.

And it took me a minute to remember what that beasty was... I love it!

wonder if it could be done with Bulettes(spelling?)

before this thread is over real nightmares will be created.

Oh, this shall fuel ideas for my campaigns...

I have a lot of ideas for this...

Takes notes

you can use the swarm idea to make a tiny adult sovereign dragon zombie swarm at CR 10...

Young Fiendish Halfling Barbarian. He really is nothing, but a tiny little ankle biter.

its been in the works for a while now just waiting on finishing a 3.5 gestalt campaign, actually none of the players have played pathfinder before so it should be interesting.

Converting from 3.5 is easy. Other systems... not so much.

Take care in your travels fair adventurer...

Dear lord I sound like an NPC...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

i am about to use the first combo template i posted to build my most ridiculous build yet, and it won't even be optimized.
presenting Mighty Mite the Mortal Micronaut of Mayhem big m for short(first level)
take one human fighter and add the advanced/young template 4 times, resulting in +32 dex, +16Mental scores, now add racial bonus to dex for 34, add the 15 points to dex for point buy (or highest rolled ability score), resulting in 49 dex, now spend your bonus feats on two weapon fighting and weapon finesse, and pick two daggers (everything is about 1 point of damage at size anyway). your to hit will be 28(19 ability, 1BAB, 8 size). your ac will be 37, flat foot 18, touch 37. now just spend normal feats on ironwill and lightning reflexes to shore up saves also getting the two weapon chain to maximize damage per turn, buy an amulet of NA, and enchanting the daggers for agile when you can to get that crazy dex for damage, weapon training light weapons (mostly for the handy early on static damage bonus), and invest ability advancement to dex for even more insane to hit and damage. i really cant condone this things even existence "whew that was alot of information to type and share, i am tired now".

i forgot to mention earlier that i believe simple templates to at least be stackable be cause they are actually listed under monster advancement

Most of us already know that stacking templates can lead to abuse. This is not new. :)

This is more of seeing how broke we can take it.

I had a Stat Block mocked up for a Tiny Great Wyrm... ;P now where did it go...

Scarab Sages

wraithstrike wrote:

Yep.

Of course, that's not a problem because templates aren't things that the players can choose for themselves. Templates are entirely GM-controlled and only very rarely apply to PCs anyway.

Unless the GM allows the players to have them as long as they are CR±0.

yes, I have seen a GM do this.

as have i and that fighter build did have +0 template cr
also i forgot to add the base score for point buy so its actually 59 dex. so 29 to hit/damage at 1st level.

Advanced Half-fiend fast zombie cats? Their tiny sized, and the CR doesn't change.

First its an advanced cat, then a half-fiend cat. Then you slap zombie on it, and because zombie's CR are based on HD (which is still just 1) the CR drops back down to 1/4

I think the dex was 20-something. Also had 2 slams, 2 claws, and a bite on a full attack. Sure, the chance to hit is only a +3, and the damage is low, BUT the AC was 20-something (+2 size, +3 nat, then all the dex). You could throw them en-mass at your players. Some of those attacks will eventually hit, some may even crit!

TONS OF FLYING ZOMBIE KITTIES!

But it isn't a CR+0

but still awesome but i did something similar with young advanced zombie catfolk... i am probably going to hell for that one.

Kicks the Young Advanced Zombie Catfolk
1d20+5=nat 20
1d20+5=nat 20
2d4+10=18

Now I will join you. Then I will overthrow Asmodeus.

Young and Advanced templates applied to a Manticore until it is Tiny. Put it inside a bottle and you have the Tiny
Manticore in a bottle from Adventure Time!
