Yeah I was hoping to have someone who actually watched it critic the movie/documentary before I went and saw it.
I thought the whole anti colonial thing was that Obama's dad in Kenya wanted to take the colonial powers down b/c they ruled the world. So in turn Obama was imparted with that idea. Something like that.How is Dinesh D'Souza crazy?

I am so sick of polotics its ridicoulous. I just want to live my life the best I can without anyone juding me for it.
The godless left, or the rightous right? Who cares? seriously?
The left want to help the poor, but raise taxes and send jobs overseas because of that.
The right screams constitutional rights but try to join church and state.
I hate both of them equally. Each November there is no right or wrong answer, but who is the lesser evil.

For the same reason that if CNN or any other legitimate news source has an expert on say climate change, they have to trot out some mouth breathing jerk who says that there's no such thing as climate change.
I plan on seeing it and i think its doing very well in the theaters. I dont find that its much of a leap that his father influenced his way of thinking even though his father wasnt around for most of his life. Arent some people influence greatly by athletes? one profound speech, etc.
The reviews i've read are that the theorys are "muddy but cant be proved one way or another. Didnt the president talk about his dad in his autobiography? Isnt it the title of his book. He spent a month with his dad while he was 9/10 and later on in life he seems to wrestle with the demons of his past and goes to Kenya to uncover his past (the presidents book).
I have never seen a president that has so many hidden secrets and has allowed so many conspiracy theorys to stay out there. His approval rating is less than 50% and most people who still support him are not as enthusiastic as they were 3+ years ago. He will be lucky if he wins re-election
I would love to see a poll on how many people on these boards are card carrying members of the republican party or even lean republican. I bet its less than 5%. From what i've seen its some democrats and a lot of anti-government.

If he was on the other side of the aisle the secrets would have been exposed by now. Haven't we seen past presidents grades and even millitary records.I dont remember these theorys with Clinton so i cant 100% really blame the right.

Well isnt this cute. Its like talk radio verbatim. Scary thing is there are so many figures using this logic for some it starts to sound logical. Look pretty much every president has been an ass, Obama is no exception.
Want to know why he allows conspiracy theories to stay out there? It makes people sound absolutely bonkers that's why. If it was me I never would have released the birth cert. Do you really believe the govt would look the other way while he used a fake? Do me a favor go and apply for a passport with a fake cert and see how far you get. The only conclusion then would be that Barry somehow has some secret alliance allowing him to go unchecked through the govt. Starting to see how bonkers this sounds yet?
Lets look at the real interesting aspect of this movie. The movie is trying to say Obama is anti-colonial. You know who else is anti-colonial? Ron Paul a rather influential republican. However the talk echo chamber seems to hate this guy. Particularly, his anti-colonial views. Even the left leaning talkers jumped in and paint him as some secret klu klux klan operative. So now right or left, anti-colonal views get you harsh criticism from your own side and conspiracy theories from the other. That is something to consider.

Hes had 38 czars so far. Bush had 33 in 8 years. Previous presidents had for the most part had single digit Czars.
He got a lot done in 4 years and was partially blocked by a rebulican congress. Close to 1/2 this county is worried what he would do if he has control of the senate and congress for another 2-4 years. Not subsribing to the theory that the government looked the other way to that theory but ive heard crazier ones. How about GWB caused 9/11 or WB stole the 2000 election. I guess it depends on where the theorys come from.
I disagree with your theory he should let these stand. I believe they hurt him (it is true thatmore people watch fox than other news networks). His network defenders do an awful job and cry racism/blame the previous guy instead of touting his accomplishments.He won the election so there wasnt racism then.
If Romney wins it wont be blame the previous guy it will be he failed and time for Hillary.
As for your passport theory heres a few
1. Government Looked the other way/enabled Whitey Bulger for years. Lot of high government officals involved in that.
2. Illegals get on welfare, drivers licenses, etc.

Are you suggesting that the use of the term "czar" for administrative officials in the executive branch is somehow going to lead to the US being ruled by an actual Russian style Tsar?
We keep losing freedoms for more security and in retrospect usually end up regretting those decisions. More paper work for passports, more background checks, more security at the airport, ban list of people who can and can't fly.

Its quite intrusive on my privacy, why should I have to tell the Government anything other than what I fill out on my taxes......which they say the IRS is an illegal organization anyways. Don't quote me on that, I'm going to do some research after this post.

All I know, living in IL, is Obama did nothing while being a Senator in the IL Congress. He voted almost 100% of the time "present" rather than stand on any issue. He was groomed by Emil Jones to run for Senate. Emil has huge ties to IL Power and they basically fast tracked Obama through the Senate to run for President. This state is a mess and Chicago is a mess. Obama did nothing for this state just like he is doing nothing for this country.
We can't have another 4 yrs of Obama standing by printing money and not making hard choices. His moral fight with catholics and gay rights aside..the economy is the most important thing and Obama and his staff have no clue how to fix things.
Anti-colonialists would let Puerto Rico and Guam go free, give Texas back to Mexico, Alaska back to Russia, and promote intermarriage and, probably, reparations.

I disagree. Here in the Movies Thread it has the potential to attract new faces and not the same old same olds.
He voted present on bills that were controversial and could have hindered re-election hopes including abortion bills and crime bills (NY times and NPR). It may be a small percentage but it seems these bills would have shown where in he stood on these issues. His democratic opponets tried to use it against him but Hope and change won the day.
D'souza argues that Obamas views were shaped by his father. that his father resented America/collonial countries for plundering their land and that his end game is to diminish americas power, give back to these other countries, and his comments on your didnt build that imply he wants to take seize the wealth from individuals and give back to the government.

If I recall correctly, Hawaii keeps hard copies of the long-form (that is, full) birth certificates in a facility. Birth certificate releases are done in short-form (condensed/abbreviated?) no matter how they are requested, although I believe it is possibly to request to see the long-form in person. Until the Hawaiian Sec. of State decided to release the long-form certificate only the abbreviated one was released. This shorter certificate caused some people to cry foul and accuse them of having released a forgery even though it was also backed up by eye witness accounts and newspaper announcements.
As for the "country's toughest sheriff" looking into it further, he's just playing politics and wasting his state/county's money. (Although the accusations against him and his force of racist behavior and/or profiling may hinder his operation slightly)

Some questionable math aside, in all candor I salute you for attacking Obama on legitimate grounds (i.e., he's a plutocrat stooge who's allowing the economy to continue to falter out of impotence and/or allegiance to his corporate masters -- most of which is probably true), rather than on the whacko tinfoil-hat ones that so many people seem drawn to (i.e., Birther stuff, ZOG New World Order stuff, secret conspiracies to smuggle Muslims in across the Mexican border before declaring Sharia law, etc., etc., etc. -- most of which is paranoid methamphetemine delusion).
