I really do not get this importance placed on Obama's grades. College grades have no correlation with success, are a terrible measure of intelligence, and completely ignored by every hiring manager looking for someone after their first job out of college. They are completely irrelevant to everything in your life.It's part of the birther thing. They assume there'll be something in his transcripts that'll reveal the truth.
I've wondered for a long time whether Obama was admitted due to quotas and whether he recieved financial aid under the claim of foreign citizenship.

I just didnt pay over 100 dollars in groceries for 1/2 the groceries that i bought this time last year. Thats not soldiers still in 2 wars. Thats not an unstable middle east. My poperty values are still not going down. My 401 K is fine. Thats not his failed stimulus/national debt. Nope hes perfect and cant be blamed for any of it. What did we expect? Well you got me on that. Once again though the movie doesnt have anything to do with the birther movement. I think the scrutiny of a presidents background started with George Bush and Chaney (Micahel Moore). He was responsible for high gas prices, 9-11 and Katrina. These conspiracys are still around today. For the most part republicans laughed it off. Turns out this movie is doing well and should have a good weekend.
I see things getting worse
1. Healthcare costs going up. I have a great healthcare plan and i pay a lot more than i did 4 years ago. I see less medical advances coming out of this country and more of us paying cash for necessary procedures.
Really sure we are having more medical advances. Not sure where you are getting your numbers. As for expenses, that is why a major part of Obamacare is to try to reform the system to reduce them.
2. I dont see unemployment getting lower. If he wins taxes go up. Whats the incentive for companies to stay here. More pople get layed off and the debt increases. Ohh right more green jobs and shovel ready jobs. Lets not forget railroads and high speed trains.

It would be significantly lower if Republican governers weren't pushing austerity measures on citizens, like every ecconomist says is the wrong thing to do in a depression. The private sector is back to pre-recession levels. The public sector has hemmoraged so many jobs that it accounts for over 1% of unemployment.
3. Education costs go up. He pours a ton of money into the education system and more pople qualify for student loans. Who pays for those grants? The college absorbs part of those costs and therefore tuition goes up. K-12 education also gets money so everyones property taxes go up to pay for the teachers salaries. even though they can barely afford their mortgages
Tuition has been skyrocketting for long before Obama. It was going up at more than twice the rate of inflation since the 90s. Increased federal funding for college has made it more affordable, but its no where near enough.
Teachers salaries are so low in this country that we have trouble finding qualified proffessionals willing to enter the proffession. Why should I go for a masters degree to fight for a teaching position that pays less than half of what my bachelors degree gets me in the private sector? Compounded on this is the fact that state bennefits, where the public sector has traditionally been able to compete, have been gutted to the point where in many places they are worse than what I can get in the private sector.
4. We borrow more from China. This should have been on the list of how America will fall. China comes in and more buys more and more factories/land.
Besides most of our debt being owned by US citizens, this is just crazy on so many levels its laughable.
5.We print more money to pay for everything so inflation skyrockets. If you or your parents are over the age of 60 ask them waht inflation was like.
Inflation has been pretty stable. We should be printing more money now, since we can take on debt at astoundingly low interest rates.
5. Foreign Drug lords running rampant in the streets of out county. I dont remember this 20 years ago? I dont remember "Whooping cough" and other deseases that were wiped out in this county now a major health problem. Triple E is now a major problem in this country and i'm afraid to go out after sundown and i live near a major city.
Have you ever seen an 80s movie? Drug addict blacks and mexicans are so common its insulting. Not to mention the Russian mob. The drug war started decades ago because of foreign drugs.
As for other health epidemics - the right and left wing crazies area a serious health epidemic for all of us. Anti-vaxers are a problem, but that is people choosing to put the rest of us at risk and the government not intervening. For someone complaining about government control, now you are being a hypocrit for the government not forcing people to do stuff.

As for teachers pay thats the history of this county. You choose to go into that profession knowing you wont make money. If you get your masters degree and want to make money then teach at a private university that will pay you (Harvard).

40-60K is the low end for technology jobs for bachelors students just leaving college. Its not pretty good for the private sector these days. Its especially terrible for anyone with a masters degree. Most of my friends graduated to 65K+, and almost all of them with 5 years experience are riding 80K or more. And when you throw in a teacher's hours worked per week, they end up working more anually than most people do in a year, even with summers off. And many teachers, especially younger ones, have to work summers without extra pay because they have an anual salary and must teach summer school. Private schools don't pay significantly better, and many pay worse, because they have lower requirements for teachers.
As for college professors - tell that to my friends who are trying to become one. Most can barely live off what they make. Many college proffessors are collecting welfare because their low salaries put them below the poverty line.

State and federal government operates in the red all the time, and right now the federal government interest rates on bonds is rediculously low. They can borrow all the money they want because people are willing to give it to them for practically no return on investment. This gives the federal government the ability to borrow money to help out struggling school districts and state governments right now, while they are going through budget crisis caused by the slow ecconomy. Instead, Republicans in congress are trying to reduce federal aid.

I did NOT get summers off; I performed "additional duties as assigned by principal" (it's in the contract). I made $21,000/year in 1996, which, adjusted for inflation, would still be less than $24,000. That's with a bachelor's and halfway to a master's degree in the relevant subject matter.
I work in industry now. The pay is two or three times better, and I only work three-fourths as many hours for it.
I taught a cartooning elective for an Accelerated Program. An Acelerated Program is where they take the kids who're failing badly out of the regular system and give them extra training in the subjects they're failing, while just doing bottom of the barrel education in the subjects they're proficient in. Point is, it was Comrade Obama style community service program.
I had no kind of credentials, but I earned $60 for teaching two hours; that was also what I would have earned for teaching 60 hours a week without a degree. My point is, you can parse the figures however you want to: $60 dollars is a terrific hourly wage, but a s+*@ty weekly salary.
But we should definitely cut federal education funding, cause it's those hoity-toity teachers we see in the expensive restaurants every night, eating filet mignon and laughing at the common, right?

GE pays NO corporate taxes. It STILL ships jobs overseas. Why? Because they can work their employees to death, pay them nothing, pollute the air till you can't breathe it and dump the chemicals out the window. China is always going to be a more attractive option unless you want to try to out china china... which is a bad idea.

Christie did it by the ways many New Jersey Republican (and the occaisonal Democrat) governors do, by accounting tricks and theft such as deferring payments to retirement funds. Christie also cost the north part of the state a bushel of jobs by cancelling the Arc Tunnel project a move which will cost New Jersey even more in the long run.

Hey has anyone seen this flick? What did you think of it?I don't have to see it. I've pretty much studied the endgame and I've already made plans on where to be. In order to understand how the endgame is going to play out, I studied the ancient past.

4. America will roughly suffer four quakes. One in the middle of the Country, one on the West Coast, and 2 in the Mountain States.
5. The Government mobilizes and then implants RFID chips in everyone. At first, it's voluntary, at second it's involuntary. If you resist, they tattoo your head or chop it off.
-- So, how can you slow this down? Really, I wondered what would happen if the General Public refuses to vote in the General Election for either party and voted for a third party. Any candidate, including the Communist candidate, would be voted for other than the Big Two. Vote 3rd party and don't vote for either the Republican or the Democratic Candidate.
