Blades of Healing

Shadow Lodge

The Demonheart Purge
The Redemption Descent
Against Oblivion
March of the Inheritors
The Bonds of Faith

Here's some more:

Where Angels Fear To Tread

Cry to Heaven*

Call for the Righteous

Quest of the Righteous

Lament for the Fallen

* Yes, I know this is the title of an Anne Rice book, but it's a good title!

World Wide Wound

Liberty's Edge

The Path to Redemption or A Path of Redemption

Redeemers Hope

Into the Black Flame

Descent into Darklight or Into the Darklight

Souls of Redemption

Swords of Redemption

Swords and Glory

Redeemers Glory

Holy Flame

Only the Good Die Young

Good Guys For The Win (my personal favorite and probably what I will call this path regardless)

Adventure Path!

Liberty's Edge

Rise of the Curse and Darkness' Fire of the Council of Kingmaker’s Serpents Crown of Jade for the Serpents Star of Winter.

A bit long, yet so descriptive!

Swords of Treachery

Liberty's Edge

Into the Wound.

You think like I do.

The Demonscar Legacy

it has a nice ring to it and harkens back to the Paizo's very first Shackled City AP.

Demons & Holy Warriors

Holy War

And just a tad controversially:

Jihadists of the Last Crusade ;)

My favorite so far is "Night no more" from Urath DM.

But since we're throwing ideas around:

- Hell on Earth (Abyss on Earth?)
- Onced more onto the Breach
- Bars of the Abyss
- Never Forgive
- Earth's Edge
- Finding Forgiveness
- Facing Madness
- No Hope for the Weak
- On the Verge of Hope
- TAFKADC (The AP formerly known as Demonblight Crusade)

As a paladin, I'm all for Crusades (and from the description of the AP, it's pretty suitable) but I agree "The Demonblight Crusade" is a little uninspiring. Looking at what I know about the world wound, I came up with a few ideas.

The Dyinglight (or Dying Light) Crusade
Last Hope
Mendev's Heirs
The Crusader's Return
Salvation in the Abyss
Tale of the Redeemers

Since the Worldwound was created by Deskari:

The Purge of Plagues Adventure Path

I haven't read through the whole thread, so apologies if something similar has already been suggested.

EDIT: OK, I've gone through and there's a couple of "Purges" and a couple of "Plagues", but I haven't seen the exact same thing.

The iconic Demon/Devil incursion brings back the old 1st Ed. D&D picture to mind (a paladin in hell)from the players handbook. To this end I would like to see something along the lines of:

Paladin Quest (Alternatively A Paladin's Quest)

Path of Brimstone and Hellfire (Alternatively just Brimstone and Hellfire)

Walk in the Shadows

Shadows Rising

Canticle of Hope and Redemption

A few more...

4. Where Angels Seek to Tread
5. Swords against the Storm King (nod to Fritz Leiber)
6. The Ressurection of Hope

Had a thought of "On Crusade" as a nod to Clausewitz, but sounds more like "on a safari" and I don't think "On Safari in Sarkoris" sounds very epic / mythic.

EDIT: had "The Redemption Crusade" and realized that Erikdlan beat me to it by an hour...

My avatar looks like a dragon, but has some ninja training.

*taps hat* Good taste, that one. My last idea points into the same direction.

Too bad, there's no equivalent to deviltry, otherwise we could propose

Swords against demon(t)ry - bah, may the native speakers sort that one out.

Ruyan.

Into the Maw

Sacrificial Path

Insanity's Incursion

Liberty's Edge

Rise to glory

Bones of sarkoris

Folly of sarkoris

Redemption of the past

Sins end

Liberty's Edge

Reclamation for the fallen

Rise of the righteous

Canticle of the redeemers

Psalms of salvation

Salvation of sarkoris

Sins of sarkoris

Oh, I like that, though I'd drop the article. Just Call to Arms.

Thanks! I think it sounds like an Adventure Path, doesn't it? "Guys, I was thinking I might run Call to Arms next, it looks awesome!"

Had to say it:...

Deskari must die?

1. Mended Honor

nice echo of 'Mendev' in there, though I say it myself...

Grand Lodge

Call to Arms is a great title.

James, when you finally settle on something (I presume we'll know that's happened when this thread gets locked?) I'd be really interested to hear why you choose what you do. Some of these are great and some of them less so - I really struggle to articulate to myself what it is that makes me prefer one to the other though.

Absolutely. When I make my decision, I'll post it here and explain why I chose what I did.

Road to Righteousness

The Narrow Road

Good Intentions

Some of them have been frankly awful. I won't name any, but I'm not excluding my own when I say that. :)

Blood & Salvation

Prayers for the Fallen

Oath of the fallen

Of Plagues and prayers

When demons laugh....

Would you consider giving your Top X (10 maybe?) of titles you considered? I'd love to know what made the cut to you, along with the one you chose and your reasons? Gives insight into your mind :)

Legends of Honor

The Blessing Way

--erp, nevermind, sounds too much like The Whispering Way?

Dark Archive

Salvation from the Endless
Salvation from the Reign

or if the Worldwound is actually closing...
From Twilight to Dawn

Warcry

or Battlecry

Hmm.. Champions of the Void.

Or maybe Chasing the Void.

Legends and Legions

Howdy folks!

As many of you may have heard, next Gen Con, in 2013, at August, we'll be launching a new adventure path set in the Worldwound.

This adventure path will...

  • ...be one where you fight a lot of demons, and may or may not get to face off against a demon lord... or maybe even demon LORDS...
  • ...be a great opportunity for players to play GOOD guys... especially good aligned clerics and paladins and the like...
  • ...have strong themes of redemption...
  • ...strongly utilize elements from the upcoming Mythic Adventures rulebook, and will give you a chance as players to play mythic characters and a chance as GMs to run mythic villains...
  • ...and will have MUCH MUCH MORE!

What I'm NOT 100% happy with right now, though, is the Adventure Path's title—currently, we're calling it "The Demonblight Crusade." Not a terrible title, but I'd rather call it something else. I've got a few ideas bumping around in my head... but I figured we have a whole messageboard of brilliant, creative people... so why not use that as well!

So!

I'm looking for suggestions as to what to call this Adventure Path! Post your suggestions below! If something comes up that I like, I'll let folks know and lock the thread so things don't continue forever (we DO have to settle on a title sooner or later, after all!). But until then... suggest away!

For reference (and so folks don't propose Adventure Path titles that accidentally use constructions and elements from one of the specific adventures), here are the names of the six parts of the adventure path. These titles are solid—I'm not looking for new suggestions here, just for the name of the adventure path as a whole.
** spoiler omitted **

The Acts of Mendev

Descent of the Inheritors
The Echoes of Deskari
Purge of the Black Flame

Stigmata of Sarkoris (Yes, another "SS" title.)

Wounds Run Deep

The Bleeding World

On-topic:

  • War at the Scar
  • Wound-War
  • Into the Battle-Wound

I wish I could suggest something but all I think of is silly things like

Surgical Team to OR
Time to stitch up Mother Earth

The Hallowing of Iz

March to glory

The Plight of the Crown (of the world)
