I only had 10 fresh ones on hand (Paizo not being forthcoming with support, I could only get the 10) but thankfully most people these days have some sort of Internet connected mobile device and they were able to get their PFS numbers online.

Regardless of politics, I or Mike could have gotten those to you. Sorry, that I didn't suggest it before hand. It didn't even occur to me that you may need those during our private messages.

Congrats on the success of your event! Growing PFS is what it's all about. I'm a bit perturbed that I'm not invited to attend next year, but que sera, sera.

I'm glad to hear your event went well. I'm never unhappy to hear more PFS is going on. I'm also glad Desi enjoyed GMing. More GM's is never a bad thing. What did she end up running? :)

My personal thoughts on the 20-30% showing up...
Have you considered having $1 tickets to keep people from signing up willy nilly and flooding your event with junk sign ups? That may be one possible solution if that's something you want to improve on next year.

One idea Chris Mortika suggested to me after Who's Yer Con is to perhaps limit how many "free" games people can sign up for so that they are more likely to come. It makes it harder for people to sign up for all three of your slots and then no show to all of them.

Congrats on your event. It's hard planning big events. And congrats to your wife. I'm always happy to hear about more female GMs. Also, there's a little button to click if you need more new player cards under the event coordinator tab. It redirects you to email.

I've removed a post that was an attack and of an insulting nature to a former VC. If you can't keep it civil, then don't post. Also, to advertise a game as a public event open to all and then forbid a certain group of players from participating is not the image we wish to portray of PFS.

When an event is advertised as a public event, it runs counter to forbid access to a specific group of players and is not going to happen on these message boards. If it is a private game, where you are limiting access, please advertise on your private message board or web page.

I spoke to Gen Con early this morning and they will advise on the policies and procedures for any PFS events that are pre Gen Con next year that are to be placed in the catalog, listed on their website, or otherwise public events that are advertised in any way by Gen Con or Paizo. This policy will include what we've always stated for PFS -- it is an organized play that is all inclusive. If it is not an all-inclusive event, it will have to be a private event, not a public event, and cannot be advertised as such. Please contact Gen Con directly for their new policies.
