Can I use that cup even if I don't spill my drink?

Kyle with a sparkly cup would mean everyone else would spill their drinks

Anyone know what time the con wraps up on sunday? Want to see if I need that last night of hotel costs or not.
Thanks
Previous years it has wrapped up in the afternoon. Some people fly out that evening, but some stay that night, play games and socialize, and then fly out the next morning at a more casual pace.

To back up what Daigle has said a bit... while we are a long ways from figuring out the programming, what has traditionally happened on Sunday is that the official events wrap up in the afternoon, and the rest of the day is given over to post-con socializing amongst attendees, guests, and Paizo staff. While you certainly do not need to stick around, IMO, that last day is one of the best parts of the con. :)

Ditto that. I've made it a point to stick around that last evening rather than fly out early and it's even more enjoyable than the faster paced days of the con itself. Same deal for flying in a day early to get settled and meet a few folks ahead of the full press on opening day.

Banquet tickets--um, how can booth minions get banquet tickets, guys?
As long as you have the badge on your account you should be able to add a banquet ticket: http://paizo.com/products/btpy8vwk (as long as they aren't sold out).

Technically, the badge isn't on my account yet. I just talked to Wolfgang about being able to work his booth yesterday. I'll see if he can't run something up the flagpole. :) Thanks.

For the gaming part of it, the schedule for those slots are going to release in the first part of the new year, I'm assuming?
The slots are usually:
Friday 8-1, 1-6, 7-12
Saturday 8-1, 1-6, Banquet
Sunday 9-2
The schedules for those games came out around May last year if I remember right.

I have to ask: was there a major problem with the Redmond Town Center Marriott this year? I acknowledge there were logistical issues and certainly space problems last year, but the flip side was the myriad dining choices a short walk away. I, for one, will certainly miss that this time around. (Not gonna stop me from planning to go, though.)
I am curious as well.
My wife came with me last year, and though she didn't participate in the Con, she got a mini-vacation. She liked walking around the shops and there was plenty to do within walking distance. She was a little disappointed and is sending me by myself.
While this hotel is not adjacent to a shopping complex, it is very near a Link Light Rail station that's only a few stops from downtown Seattle, which is WAY, WAY, WAY more interesting than Redmond Town Center. Significant others looking to make a mini-vacation out of their partner's con are a bit more distant from a semi-decent strip mall, but they now have access to Pike Place Market, two enormous downtown malls, scores of world-class shops and boutiques, the waterfront, and just about the whole downtown area.
It requires a bit more of an adventurous spirit, perhaps, but the appeal for the day-tripper should actually be greatly enhanced by this change in venue.
I even think it's a good idea to organize some off-campus events for spouses, so that folks can head out together, perhaps with a local guide or two, and tour the city in style.

Thanks for the response, from both you and from Vic.
I don't deny downtown Seattle is far more interesting than downtown Redmond; my wife and I took in some of Seattle (including Pike Place Market, yay!) and even toured Safeco Field last year. For anyone who hasn't seen the city, I heartily recommend taking the time and doing so, particularly using the city's mass transit system.
My issue is much less one of shopping and sights and more one of meal choices, of which the Town Center had many. But again, it's not enough to keep me home. :-)

About this time last year I was considering PaizoCon 2012. I had been recently introduced to Pathfinder (and tabletop roleplaying in general) and really didn't know what to expect from a Con. Lets just say that it exceeded all of my best expectations.
I really look forward July 5th, 2013, thanks Paizo!

Does anybody know the food situation at/near the hotel? Hotel food is far too expensive for me. Anything nearby?
via FAQ:
How do I get around to area restaurants or shopping?Guests of the Seattle Airport Marriott have access to a free hotel shuttle servicing restaurants within 1 mile of the hotel (includes the SouthCenter Mall). Details on this shuttle service are To Be Announced.
I do believe there is a Jack In the Box, Starbucks, Denny's, Mango Thai Cuisine & Bar, Subway, Sharps Roadhouse via Google Maps. All within one mile of the hotel.

One really neat thing for non-gamer spouses to do in Seattle is the Chocolate Indulgence Tour.
Hell, I live here and I've done the tour four times. It's worth it.
