Gen Con announcements?

Hi. I've been looking for any new product announcements from Paizo at Gen Con but I've only seen the Mythic announcement. Was their anything else mentioned? Thanks.

Chronicles of Righteousness and Champions of Good. The former is about angel lords, the latter is a player's companion.

Demon Blight Crusade is the next next AP, set place near the worldwound, I think.

Silver Crusade

Mythic was the big thing. There's the Pathfinder Munchkin deal that was formalized at Gencon. After the Winter Witch focused adventure path will be the Worldwound Crusade, which will have some Mythic Material in it...

Interesting stuff. What is the Champions of Good about?

Did paizo perform any keynote like wotc? Or did they give more info on the paizo con stuff like the online game table or a 2012-2013 catalog

There wasn't a Paizo keynote. ( by definition there can only be one of them...) Most of Paizo's info came out in the future of Paizo seminar, a lot of which was reported on Dale McCoy Jr's twitter feed.

RPG line: NPC Codex in October, Ultimate Campaigns in Spring, Mythic Adventures next Gencon.

APs: Shattered Star now, then Reign of Winter, then Demon Blight Crusade.

Campaign Setting: Angel based equivalent of the Book of the damned, then something on Castles, something on Dragons & the Reign of Winter map pack.

Player Companions: dungeoneering book (think this is announced), Champions of Purity, Kobolds of Golarion, Dragon Hunters, Crusaders handbook, demon hunters handbook

Modules nothing direct, but mentioned that they're going to experiment with length.

that info is what I think he was looking for

Campaign Setting: A book about/for Dragons?!, Castles? these are new

Player Companions: Kobolds of Golarion!, Dragon Hunters!, Crusader and Demon Hunter Handbooks sounds like the same thing to me.

Sweet two dragon focused books and a race book for Kobolds.

Angel based book and Champions of Purity already heard about but still interested.

I wonder what this Castle book will be like.

I'd love a Dragons Revisited 2, one that covers Primal and Imperial Dragons. We don't really have hardly any fluff information on those dragons.

Sounds like great stuff!

Oooh, I wonder if the Chronicles of Righteousness is going to be a series like the Books of the Damned were, or are they going to try to shove all of the good races in the same book. Any word on that?

And THAT seems like a good place for Mikaze to finally get his wish for Celestial Totems!

Here's an announcement. Two guys in my group are going and I am not. First time for them (they're both presently single) and I have never gone. It has been my Mecca for... 24 years I think. Someday.

from what Dale put out, they said it's specifically about Angels, so I'd say there's a good chance of a series if sales are decent

That and there might be a chance for a Gorynych and the Linnorms to be in there. I'd really like that a lot.

Instead of a "Dragons Revisited 2" I hope it is a "Dragon's of Golarion" book that covers all creatures of the dragons type to date with maybe some new ones.

I am glad that the first celestial based book is Angels. I hope the next one will be Azata and then Agathions for the third.

How would that work? You have 20 different main dragons, plus all the Lindorms, Azi, drakes, and "one-offs" (Dragon-turtle, Gorynch, etc). That's a lot of coverage for one book

Also hope the Archons get a book. They are a distinct type of outsider from the Angels after all.

I heard "Mythic."

Is there going to be lvl21+ material now?

Barely. It's not epic rules.

It looks like Paizo is going a very different way compared to the old 3.0 epic rules that just extended the level scale. The mythic rules seem to be orthogonal to the standard level scale. I think, going this way, we will not see official level 21+ rules, which is absolutely fine with me. If you liked the old epic rules, there is nothing stopping you using them with Pathfinder, too.

Orthogonal... You mean it will help my feet? :)

No, he means

Perpendicular (at a right angle) to class advancement,
in other words creating a new dimension in how a character advances.

That's exactly what I meant. :)

Note to self: The internet ruins attempts at humor.

The dragon book is called "Dragon Lairs" and will have stats, treasure, lair, history, etc. for 10 specific dragons found in the Innersea region.

Ah. Somewhat like "Lost Kingdoms", then. Thanks for the additional information.

hopefully they will include some "non-traditional dragons" at least in that list. We already have Dragons revisited as well as WOTC various draconomicon books...It would be nice to get some love for some of the newer dragons that Paizo has introduced.

I have feeling it will be the classic 10 dragons but yeah you never know.

I like how that sounds.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like Paizo has some kick-ass stuff in the works.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like Paizo has some very interesting products lined up. Looking forward to handing them barrels of money for the foreseeable future.

I asked Mr. Jacobs about the Dragon Lairs book and he said that the 10 dragons might not just be the classic ten. I am hoping for Bronze, Silver, Red, Green, Crystal, Cloud, and at least one Linnorm.

The Castle book mentioned will be like Dungeons of Golarion but focused on 6 or so famous castles of the Innersea.
