Just wondering about what PFS events are goint to be run at CogCon in Rolla, MO this year.

I've invited friends from Colorado to come out and play... but we can't find anything about WHAT will be run - so they don't want to commit yet. Hate to drag them out on a 12 hour drive and not be able to play anything...

That con is the weekend of Archon... and it is the same weekend as Brewfest. I know that Con normally draws a good PFS crowd. I just wish they were spread out a little more.

Haven't been to CogCon in about 2 years.

It will probably be the same format we've been using in the past nosig. Open Library for the weekend with a couple of slots set for newer scenarios. Once GenCon is over, we'll have a little more time to plan what specific scenarios we'll run and I hope to get Paizo con support this year.

EDIT: http://www.cogcongaming.com/

Then it's time for you to come back. :P

I'll be bringing at least 4 with me... most of us able to play or judge. Mostly we'll be looking for higher tier (7-11 I think). Would it help if we got the core of a group together and maybe suggested some scenarios? that would give the judges time to pick something they like, prep it and put on a great show. (and give us time to decide if we needed to provide a judge ourselves...).

That works for me. I'm always up for making things easier. :)

It was easier for me to make when it was held earlier in the year which I know wasn't as good for the locals. There's always a chance but I'll have just held Nuke-Con a few weeks ahead of that and have KC Game Fair a few weeks after. :(

CogCon does hold fond memories for me.

It's not really that us locals are unable to do the Spring, it's that our choice location is VERY hard to get in the Spring. Sept/Oct gives us the best chance to basically have the place to ourselves.

It is a great location.
