Inspired by the fun time we had at Paizocon UK, a couple of us thought it would be fun to organise another convention where we could get together and play lots of PFS.

Crispycon is now well into the planning stages and we're looking for ideas to make it bigger and better - if you have any ideas for things you would like to see at conventions we'd love to hear from you.

We're also really interested in advertising ideas - especially if they aren't going to cost us lots of money.

Please look at our website

Thanks :)

I love the idea, but this thread belongs on the Grand Lodge PFS forums. I've flagged it so it gets moved to the right place. Good luck with your ventures!

You should also create an event in your account so that it shows up in the calendar.

Thank you - I really wasn't sure which forum was the one to use. Thanks for fixing my mistake for me.

I'm surprised more folks haven't dropped in to say they are coming. I guess everyone is busy watching the #gencon feed on twitter!

I'll be there and I hope to be running "Carrion Hill" as a 3-slot full day Saturday game for twisted, weird and disturbed player characters who should know better.

I will be there with family and I will bring several layouts in DwarvenForge for GMs to use.

I might try and actually play a little ...

I'll hopefully be there but because of trains [if i stay all day sunday im looking at a late return home or another night at a hotel i can little afford]i may have to leave after the first slot on sunday.

How about anyone who is in a position to offer a spare car seat posts here? We will be heading up from near Brighton.

I am so looking forward to this. I have a full car travelling up from Portsmouth all ready to bring the awesome.

Fully prepped, fully loaded and looking really deadly. Please have those six Seige Perilous ready for my victims. They can get their revenge when I play on Sunday morning.

Shadow Lodge 3/5 RPG Superstar 2013 Top 16

It was a huge amount of fun! Thanks to Carol and Tonya for putting the show together. I hope it's not too long before the next one...

Glad it went well!

If anyone travelled south to get to Crispycon (or fancies a long drive north), we have quite a few tables of Pathfinder Society running at DevaCon near Chester on 1st & 2nd Dec.

Can this be added under famous last words?

I know this is an old post. I cannot find the simple answer I am looking for anywhere.

The title mentions 3 slots. How long did it actually take to complete? When I mentioned I would like to run this at a Convention I was informed that it takes two days to get through (Conventions here have 3 4-5 hour slots a day), thus would not be a good fit for that environment.

I know the book is 32 pages. I am in the process of producing the maps using a combination of the very low resolution maps in the pdf and Fat Dragon Games Dungeon tiles/3d terrain.

To do this correctly without rushing past the important role play portions... how long does this module take in real time?

Thanks,
Bob

You don't actually mention what you are asking about. Is the module to which you are referring Carrion Hill (mentioned above) or something else?

The Exchange

This thread is about an old run of Carrion Hill. I have read the module and I am in the process of assembling the maps and painting the minies. I am getting information that this module is too long to fit in three 4-5 hour slots. I was wanting clarification from folks that have ran it if this is the actual case.

Actually, this thread was organising CrispyCon 2012.

If you want information specifically about whether Carrion Hill can be run over three slots, you would be better off starting a new thread with that as the title.

Alternatively, if you click on Rob Silk's avatar above, you will see on the page that you go to the option to send him a private message. Since he has run it, he may well be able to answer your question.

Since preparations for CrispyCon 2013 are underway, it would be helpful if this thread didn't keep getting brought back from the dead, as the dates in the title are not correct for 2013. This year it is 9th-10th November.
