No really where's tig?

I'm reading the AP trying to figure out where each token goes on my map. Where is tig? Is he in one of the huts or out in the open?

Tig is:

He can, of course, be anywhere you want. But those were the two places that I figured he would predictably be given the wording in the beginning of Part Five on pg39

In my game, I made both Tigs one and the same. He was just recently adopted after being found alone in the woods (thanks to use of an item I added, Hat of Alteration.) Tricking some (admittedly happier) folks into feeding him for a while was a fun pastime, until getting kidnapped. Sadly, even being as small and capable as he is, breaking out of his cage would have been a bad idea. Wisps don't like it when their meals up and run away.

My first Kingmaker group hated the kid so much they almost dragged him to Candlemere to leave him there.

I hope to not repeat that with my second group.
