I'm in the process of getting ready for Gen Con. It's shaping up to be a busy weekend of reading, picking out assorted minis for my games, and other preparations for the trip on Wednesday. Oh, and I plan on being over at Scotty's for some games before jumping into module running.
By the way, this may be my first time DMing at Gen Con for Pathfinder, I have judged previously for LFR. And with my experience with the old Living Greyhawk days, I am used to manic prep work before a convention.
I just downloaded the special, and now I have to add "buy new color ink cartridge" to my list of things to do this weekend. *sigh*
I am a Tier 1 GM and this is my first GenCon. Am I supposed to receive my badge in the mail or will I be picking it up at the con? My GenCon account says I have a GM badge, is that badge also going to get me into the Con or just the Paizo games I am running?
No, I have a theater major wife who likes playing with foam core. She'll be working HQ most of the weekend....
I think I have worked out the logistics of making a 3d map that'll feel and play "right". Making it work for *transport* is the interesting part... and we might not finish it before we leave tomorrow, since I would only need it for Thursday. :/

Golden Serpent just needs some accessories built.
I see you're an [OF] GM for Thursday evening when I'm playing this. Hoping for a lot of players :-)
Gencon... tomorrow! Excited but also a little stressed. I think it's almost less stressful going by yourself instead of organizing a large group. Praying that the events will go great and don't suck.

....Did I make that creepy enough?
Answer: Yes
Clint with probably sleep with his cheeks clenched, because "those aren't pillows".
about to pack in the laptop and cpap, then the last map bits (I went with a much SIMPLER version of the map for 4-04, but we are custom tiling for it to skip packing my megamat and map markers, and have the act 3 map tiles to back and cut), then the road!
Woke up early today excited. Need to get ink to print last faction missions and final packing. Never enough time for prep.
In Indy in less than 7 hours!
