How miniscule does the contribution need to be to warrant consideration?

You can tack on "You Have What You Hold" to this arc.

What I would like to see is a good procession through the Assault on the Worldwound, starting with the lowlevel scenarios involving acquiring strength (Wardstone Patrol, You Have Wat You Hold) leading into the "gathering allies" 5-9/7-11 scenarios (Port Godless, Elven Entanglement, Where Mammoths, etc.).

This is an excellent thread.

Anything else from Season 5 that can be added to this list?

Also, does anybody know of a similar thread not for storylines, but for recurring villains? (i.e. Kafar & Nefti, Grandmaster Torch, Thurl, etc.)

5/5 5/55/5

Thurl was my favorite VC, I loved role playing him,

Spoiler:
so sad he became a villain.

5-22 The Scars of the Third Crusade is loosely connected with the Desimire story arc, but sadly the players are unlikely to pick it up unless they play Day of the Demon and remember some names.

I have been wondering, some of the other names on a certain list in Day of the Demon, do they make a appearance in any other scenarios?

Sovereign Court 4/5 5/5 ** Venture-Lieutenant, Netherlands—Leiden

Also, it's likely you're not playing Scars and Day with the same PC, because the tier range of Day is higher than Scars. In my case my paladin became level 6 after Day, so he couldn't actually play Scars.

6-02 Can be added to the Blakros Museum list, although it is only loosely tied to other Blakros fun in 4-09, 5-14, and 5-03.

Blakros Museum
5 Mists of Mwangi
35 Voice in the Void
2-11 The Penumbral Accords
3-07 Echoes of the Overwatched
4-09 The Blakros Matrimony
4-EX/5-14 Day of the Demon
5-03 The Hellknight's Feast
6-02 The Silver Mount Collection

Also, not sure what to call the series but
5-01 The Glass River Rescue
and
5-21 The Merchant's Wake

are related to each other.

3-03 Ghenett Manor Gauntlet is related to 5-01 and 5-21 as well.

I'm trying to look at a theme of pirates mixing PFS modules. Here is my first crack at it, which has a hole at level 10-11 that I'm looking for fill options for. (Also looking at how possible similar story arcs for Varisian/Runlord, Irrisen/Ice, Tien, and Osirian campaigns might work.

Month 1 (lvl 1) - 0-2 The Hydra Fang Incident, 0-8 Slave Pits of Absalom

Month 2 (lvl 1-2) - 0-17 Perils of the Pirate Pact, 2-13 Murder on the

Month 3 (lvl 2) - 4-07 Severing Ties, 4-15 Cyphermage Dilemma

Month 4 (lvl 3) - Skull and Shackles Part 1

Month 5 (lvl 4) - Plunder and Peril Part 1

Month 6 (lvl 5) - Plunder and Peril Part 2

Month 7 (lvl 6) - Plunder and Peril Part 3

Month 10 (lvl 9) - Skull and Shackles Part 4

Month 11 (lvl 10) - 0-22 Fingerprints of the Fiend, 1-38 No Plunder, No Pay

Month 12 (lvl 10-11) - ?

Month 13 (lvl 11) - ?

Month 14 (lvl 12) Skull and Shackles Part 5

Month 15 (lvl 13) Skull and Shackles Part 6

Sovereign Court 3/5

I'm trying the same thing, Robert. As we'll be doing Skull & Shackles in a few months. This is a good list, but don't forget that 6-06: Hall of the Flesh Eaters (Levels 1-5) also takes place in the Shackles.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 5/55/55/55/5 ****

As a player of a few piratey characters myself, I *totally* applaud you for this :) Some ideas for other scenarios to potentially include:

#0-04 The Frozen Fingers of Midnight (1-5) is slightly more a-viking than piratey, but since Northmen going a-viking were effectively pirates anyway...

#2-01 is a good land-based one that still has a piratey feel to it (also 1-7) - Before the Dawn Part 1. Plus it's in Bloodcove which is just south of the Shackles.

#5-01 The Glass River Rescue (1-5) is a solid ship-based one where piratey tactics and mentalities could be a ton of fun.

Same with #6-05 Slave Ships of Absalom (1-5) a semi followup to #0-08 after a fashion.

I also agree with Matt that #6-06 Hall of the Flesh Eaters (1-5) is good for its location as well, if nothing else.

I don't think you need anything in this range, but #6-11 Slave Master's Mirror (3-7) ties into #0-08 and #6-05 really well, also, and #5-07 Port Godless (5-9) is a bit of infiltration, port-side stuff, could fit the overall theme.

#0-20 King Xeros of Old Azlant (7-11) could work too - mysterious ship appears, local government calls for the Society to check it out...

#2-26 The Mantis' Prey (7-11) isn't a perfect fit, methinks, but comes close to the kind of adventure swashbuckling pathfinders might enjoy.

When I played it, we were able to make #4-08 The Cultist's Kiss (7-11) into a sort of piratey adventure - the PCs need a "cover story" so my Pirate captain and his ship sailed in "laden with booty looking to spend it" and it influenced the theme of about half of the scenario.

These are on the other side of the world, but;

#3-11 Quest for Perfection pt 2 - On Hostile Waters (1-5) is a good fit for sailors/ship-board things.

#6-13 Of Kirin and Kraken (7-11) is also in the "close" category - infiltrating a swampy wasteland to seek a ruin buried beneath salt and silt.

-----

I really do like the list you've come up with, Robert - hope these suggestions help!

-----

Now, this is solely me, but if I were putting together a Pirate PFS Campaign, I think I'd go with...

Perilous Pirates Pursuing Plunder:

Level 1 - #2-13, #4-15, #0-02 (1-5 x3) [Varisia to Absalom]
Level 2 - #0-08, #6-05, #6-06 (1-5 x3) [Absalom to the Shackles]
Level 3 - Skull & Shackles 1 (2-4)
Level 4 - Plunder & Peril 1 (3-5)
Level 5 - Plunder & Peril 2 (4-6)
Level 6 - Plunder & Peril 3 (5-7)
Level 7 - Skull & Shackles 2 (5-7)
Level 8 - Skull & Shackles 3 (7-9)
Level 9 - #5-07, #2-26, #4-08 (5-9, 7-11 x2) [Rahadoum, Absalom, Varisia]
Level 10 - #6-13, #0-20, #1-38 (7-11 x3) [Tien Xa, Absalom, back to the Shackles]
Level 11 - Skull & Shackles 4 (9-11)
Level 12 - Skull & Shackles 5 (11-13)
Level 13 - Skull & Shackles 6 (13-15)

Pirates seems to be pretty fleshed out. I'm surprised as I try to put together a Tien listing, is this all the PFS scenarios and mods set there? I was sure there are some I'm missing.

1-5 3-09 The Quest for Perfection—Part I: The Edge of Heaven
1-5 3-11 The Quest for Perfection—Part II: On Hostile Waters
1-5 3-13 The Quest for Perfection—Part III: Defenders of Nesting Swallow

Lvl 3 Jade Regent 1: The Brinewall Legacy

3-7 4-21 Way of the Kirin

5-9 4-16 Fabric of Reality
3-15 The Haunting of Hinojai

Lvl 6 Jade Regent 2: Night of the Frozen Shadows

7-11 6-13 Of Kirin and Kraken

Lvl 9 Jade Regent 3: The Hungry Storm
Level 10 Jade Regent 4: Forest of Spirits
Level 11 The Ruby Phoenix Tournament
Level 12 Jade Regent 5: Tide of Honor
...
Level 15 Jade Regent 6: The Empty Throne (could be done at 14)

(Both Jade regent 4 and Ruby Phoenix are level 11 mods, so they could be done in either order for the level 10 and level 11 components).

This has a lot more holes to fill in at the low to middle levels.
Need 3 more scenarios or 1 mod to get through level 1 or 2. (If both are available, it allows quest for perfection to move to a level 4 slot.) Need 4 more scenarios or a scenario + mod to get from level 4 to 6. Need 4 more scenarios or a mod + scenario to get from level 7 to 9. Really solid endgame getting from level 9 to level 13. Getting from 13 to 14 is an issue though, to close out Jade Regent.

Sovereign Court 4/5

I don't know much about Season 3, but there's probably a few other Tien themed options, even if they don't take place there. The Kortos Envoy (3-04, Tier 7-11) is set in Absalom, but is part of the "getting ready for Ruby Phoenix" plotline. I'm sure there's others along the same lines.

I've looked at Ustulav, Irrisen, and Osirion. All of them have holes, but Osirion only has a couple gaps.

Level 1
Mummy's Mask Part 1 - The Half Dead City

Level 2
Risen from the Sands
Destiny of the Sands Part 1
Destiny of the Sands Part 2
(Risen from the Sands would be real tough for level 2. Probably makes sense to instead plug something else in that slot, and then play Risen after you do Destiny in the Sands part 3.)

Level 3 and Level 4
Destiny in the Sands Part 3
(This is our first big gap. Need to play 5 adventures to get to level 5, or 4 if you move Risen from the Sands here.)

Level 5
Mummy's Mask Part 2 - Empty Graves

Level 6
(This is our second and last gap before level 12. 3 adventures needed to reach level 7.)

Level 7
6-19 Test of Tar Kuata
2-03 The Rebel's Ransom
0-32 Drow of the Darklands Pyramid

Level 8
Mummy's Mask Part 3 - Shifting Sands

Level 9
0-36 Echoes of the Everwar Part 1
0-42 Echoes of the Everwar Part 2
0-44 Echoes of the Everwar Part 3
(These aren't in Osirion, but lead into the final part which is)

Level 10
0-53 Echoes of the Everwar Part 4
2-20 Wrath of the Accursed
6-04 The Beacon Below

Level 11
Mummy's Mask 4 - Secrets of the Sphinx

Level 12
(There is a gap here, but you could do MM5 at it's min level)

Level 13
Mummy's Mask 5 - The Slave Trenches of Hakotep

Level 15
Mummy's Mask 6 - Pyramid of the Sky Pharoah

The Exchange

I was asked if someone has already or could put together a campaign list for specifically fighting the Aspis Consortium. Some players want to make a team that will usually play together. They thought of the VC's or Decimverate setting up a team specifically to go after the Aspis. Sounds better than a lot of ideas I've heard.

I have not yet found a list like that. And I haven't run enough of them to know which ones.

Is there a list like that already exists or could one of you kind folks put it together?

I'm so glad I just found this thread. I am trying to get Society play started up in my area, and was looking for scenario lists of "campaign" type arcs so the players could get a solid feel for the way the plots flow. This is perfect.

Now I just have to decide which plot to follow... They are experienced gamers, they just have never played PFS before.

Grand Lodge 4/5

I was setting up the Tide of Morning / Tide of Twilight arc in my area, and (without knowing the scenarios myself in advance) it looked like the Pallid Plague (PFS 1-43) was related to the others. It isn't listed like it here.

Even if it isn't part of the arc, can someone tell me if Tides would run better or worse without the Pallid Plague?

Grand Lodge 4/5

The Pallid Plague is in the same general region and connects to the Falcon's Hollow modules and (without checking directly) probably Realm of the Fellnight Queen. I don't remember a direct connection to the Tides series, but it would add to the woodsy fey flavour.

Does anyone have a handy list of scenarios involving The Spider?

I see #2-23 & -24 Shadow's Last Stand, as welll as #4-23 Rivalry's End, of course. Am I missing any appearances?

Same question on The Shadow Lodge.

IIRC, the first mention is in #52 & 53 City of Strangers. Then some plotting in the shadows during season 2, but I've not played all of season 2 to know which specific scenarios deal with the Shadow Lodge. I know they went Legit in #3-01 and continued so right up to #4-23. Anyone familiar with Season 2 plot lines to help me fill in the details?

Follow-up question: Was it ever explained how Torch ended up in charge of the Shadow Lodge (PC Faction version)?

4/5

My Enemy's Enemy has some connecting info (though she's not in it personally). Even a boon on the chronicle about her remembering you in the future for foiling her plans. So seems like it should get tossed in there.

Basically the various Shadow Lodge scenarios all fill in bits.
City of Strangers (1 and 2) first give you the clues at the end of season 1 (mentioning them setting up lodges in Almas, Whitethrone, Sothis)... that then lead to Shades of Ice (1 through 3 aka Whitethrone above), Wrath of the Accursed (Sothis) and temporarily concluding in Shadows Last Stand (1 and 2, Almas), all in season 2. (Shadows Fall on Absalom also is a rogue shadow lodge bit, but did not feel as connected... as well the s2 Special.)

Of course, the Spider eventually resurfaces... which then gets you into the above mentioned Enemy's Enemy and on to Rivalry's End in Season 4.

Not sure if she (or mention of her) came up elsewhere in season 4, or in season 3 at all (Though I suppose Frostfur Captives had some fallout from the S2 Shades of Ice shadow lodge stuff).

Follow-Up Answer: Check on The Mantis' Prey for info on Torch's transition and fallout from some of that earlier stuff. Which should be included in there.

Here I am back with another request:

This time I am interested in leading up to the Destiny of Sands series. Before this, was any other Sage mentioned besides Amenopheus, the Sapphire Sage? Did we ever get any background on him? It looks like he just appeared with no introduction in #3-01.

So far I have the Sages arc as:
#5-12,5-15, & 5-16 Destiny of the Sands
#6-4 Beacon Below
#7-11 Ancients Anguish
Nothing so far in season 8...

Anyone know of any scenarios I should add to the list?

4/5

You need to not only introduce Amenophius, but possibly Kafar and Nefti I'd think.

Kafar and Nefti first show up in The Devil We Know I (during season 1) and then again in Part IV of that series (stealing the Bell of Obedience out from under you, which then later gets mentioned in Library of the Lion in season 6 in the encoded message... not sure what if anything became of that.)

Amenopheus has been the head of the Osirion (later Scarab Sages) faction since Season 0 (except for a brief stint in the later half of season two where some other fellow was running things. But that might be because Amenopheus was trying to infiltrate the Spider's organization during that time... as he later pops up when you rescue him from her in Shadows Last Stand II... and then he's back in charge of the faction missions again from then on.)

You also get to meet him personally in First Steps II, during one of the errands you are running.

Of course, after he fails to find a cure for the Ruby Prince's curse he gets fired by him and forms the new faction, intent on finding other members of the Jeweled Sages... which is the overarching faction goal in season 5.

You first hear of the Diamond Sage in The Glass River Rescue and receive a boon to seek clues in Rahadoum (and a small monetary reward when you do)

Then you find out a little more in Port Godless, when you find out Eando Kline himself has worked with her a little and you get a boon to continue looking in Eto (and another small monetary boon for doing so)

Which then leads to the whole Destiny of Sands stuff. Where you learn about the Emerald, Topaz, and Ruby sages... and then finally meet the Diamond Sage. You recovery topaz, ruby was destroyed, and you learn Kafar and Nefti sold the emereld gem to Torch.

Then Beacon Below where you learn about the Amethyst Sage... and can learn the general location of a few of the jewels (emerald in Andoran strangely enough)

And then to actually meat said Amethyst Sage in Ancient's Anguish.

That's all I can recall off the top of my head.

oops...
Edit: Not First Steps II! I meant First Steps part 1 (the one that's still legal to play).

Hey folks. looking for some (hopefully) help.

Got the technology book for xmas. Also my wife got me a great mini of a gnome with a gun.

So I'm thinking of making a gnome alchemist/gunslinger. (I haven't checked yet, but was told none of the classes in the technology book are legal for PFS.)

So, I want to try to run him through any of the scenarios that have anything to do with anything to do with tech/guns, Numaria, or X (can't remember the name of the country that has all the guns). Of course I want to run them all in the high tier.

I believe there were only 3 scenarios that have anything to do with tech. Is that correct?

But it seems like there should be some others with guns or those 2 countries.

Any ideas?

If you are looking for tech, it will be in season 6 and later. Scenarios: 6-1,6-2,6-3,6-17, and 6-20 are all high in tech content, as is scenaro 8-4.

Guns were invented in Alkenstar in the Mana Wastes. The only scenario I remember set there is #7-12, but the guns aren't really featured.

Grand Lodge 4/5
