Character death during PFS module play

Scarab Sages 1/5

Hi all.
I have just finished the first session of Feast of Ravenmoor and have not had times to consult PFS ruleook.

I have had a character die. Can the player introduce a new PFS charcter to continue in the PFS module play in the next session?

Dark Archive 2/5

No, at least not for credit anyways.

If he is dead and is unable to be raised, you need give him his chronicle and make sure that during reporting that the character has died. A better option would be to see if there is some way to bring this character back to life in game, whether its through PP, his own money or other people's donations.

If he can't be brought back to life until the end of the module, please see pages 23 & 24 of the Guide for PFS for further instructions for rewarding the player.

Allowing him to continue play would give that player 2 chronicle sheets: one for the dead character and one for the newly living one. This in itself is illegal. In any case, he can't bring in a 1st level PC since Feast of Ravenmoor can only be played by level 2 through 4 PCs.

Fair enough. I will explore options. Only reason this is important is that it is the players house!!!

He does have another PFS character that is eligle for this module play.
