How to reduce armor check penalty?

Advice

Grand Lodge

I know there is armor expert trait, and mithril armor also reduces the check penalty but are there any feats? And if so where are they from if you know?

Dark Archive

At least one of the Expanded Masteries of the Armor Mastery feats from Iron Heroes decreases ACP and increases Max Dex of armor you wear. They're 3.5, so GM approval would be required.

Edit: There is also the Horrifically Overpowered feat Gestalt from The Genius Guide To: Horrifically Overpower Feat from Super Genius Games. Using Gestalt you could gain the class features of the fighter or armiger classes, both of which grant armor training.

1. be a fighter :)
2. masterwork
3. mithril

I've got one more - Armor Expert trait (Advanced Character Guide pg 327).

Fighters have armour training. Also, dark leaf cloth is basically Mithril for non metal armor.

Another route to keep in mind, which stacks with all of the previous suggestions, is to simply add to the skill you intend to use. A +5 skill bonus only costs 2500 gold, or 3750 if you add it to an existing item.

Armor Enhancement- Comfort (found in the APG):

Armor of comfort sheds dirt and sweat as they accumulate, and remains as comfortable as weather-appropriate clothing regardless of environmental conditions. A suit of armor with this enhancement always looks immaculately clean, can be slept in as though it were light armor, and does not cause a penalty to the wearer’s saving throws to resist the effects of extreme heat. In cold weather, it counts as cold-weather clothing. In addition, the armor’s armor check penalty is reduced by 1 (to a minimum of 0).

Only +5k gp, (not an enhancement bonus, but gp bonus)

Where is this enchantment at?

Magic Item Creation

Competance skill bonus = Skill bonus squared x 100.

Example, +5 to acrobatics = 5 squared x 100 = 25 x 100 = 2500.

In cases like +5 slick armor, the 2500 is multiplied by 1.5 because it's placed on armor/existing magic item = 3750.

Agile Breastplate and Agile Plate.

Sweet, Mithral Hellknight plate of Comfort with Armor Expert trait has armor check penalty 0, wears as medium, requires no armor proficiencies besides the trait.

Actually comfort comes from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide.

making armor masterwork reduces the penalty by 1.

There is always armor ointment. 30 gold for 8 hours of reduced armor check penalty.

The spell Effortless Armor reduces it by up to 5.
The spell Lighten Object reduces it by 1.

Both spells are 1 minute per level.
