Is there any way for me to know whether my subscription would be cheaper if I paid the shipping (with the $10 discount for the order being over $100) or if I paid the local sales tax for GenCon pickup?

You should be able to figure it out by putting similar books in your cart and. Going to the choose shipping opion during checkout befor canceling. Not sure if youCan do it with preorders or not....

And up your subscription products, and write it down twice
1) multiply by 1.07 (indiana sales tax is 7%)
2) use the shipping figure from above added with the total of your books

Once again, the captain has all the answers. :)

So Indianapolis doesn't have any city or county sales taxes to worry about?

Nope. There will be a 7% sales tax assessed on purchases made/picked up at the booth in Indianapolis.
