New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.7.0.2 : Lots of minor updates. Error Corrections. And load time enhancements.

Good News. So I started my new job. Bad News. Most of the internet is either blocked, or frowned at. So I am doing all my research, and fact checking via my phone. That sucks. But at least I am updating again.

CIRCLED.

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.8.0.1 : More minor updates. Error Corrections. More load time enhancements. Few missing items added.

Grand Lodge

The Feats seem to be sorted wrong in both 6.7.0.2 and 6.8.0.1

There is a break in the line, two actually. Some reason my tests never showed them. I have an update planned for tonight. There is a fix listed on the current ticket for those who can not wait.

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.9.0.0 : Fix some minor data errors. More Prestige Classes added.

Liberty's Edge

BTW, thank you very much, a great tool!

Hiya!

Do you have any idea when you might be adding in the Animal Companion updates, and the new class archtypes? (ie Mad Dog Barbarian) - that Animals book was quite a piece of work!

Looks like it was fixed in the latest version. THANKS! It's my favorite Pathfinder tool!

please make an open-office version or libre version. that would be great. can't really use on libre. it tells me there is to many macros and then it freezes.

I've been playing around with this as I re-stat an NPC for the Runelords game I'm running (Tsuto).

It takes a while for things to re-calc on my laptop, but it's seeming to be a great tool!

I had a few questions about it:

1) Does checking the box in the options to use the variant rule "Armor as DR" do anything? The stat block and character sheet both continue to display AC as normal.

2) I accidentally added a Composite bow with a strength allowed (+3) above the strength mod (+2). When I changed it back, the to-hit penalty disappeared, but on the character sheet page III, it continued to say in the special ability section that using a bow with a higher mod gives a penalty to attack.

3) Is there a way to use a monster as a base race? (Quasit for Erylium.)

Thanks!

My group has returned to the pathfinder universe. And this time it is my turn to GM :) mwuhahaha! I'm definitely directing them all to this sheet because it rocks!!

Is this fine piece of artwork on hiatus? :(

I actually just started using this a couple of weeks ago. Great tool. Would love to know if there will be a way to increase performance though. I understand it has to go through quite a few calculations and permutations, but it is taking it 2-3 minutes just to update base statistics and my computer is pretty decked out.

Is this normal for everyone who uses this?

yeah its even slower for non decked out computer but its a big program REALLY hard to make it not slow

Irish Wonda:
There is an option you can check so it doesn't try to load each ability you check. That way you can select 3-4 feats, or put in all your ability scores, or some skills, etc without it freezing up and taking a long time each time. Then you simply hit F10 to let it all load which takes about the same amount of time it takes to load 1 option. This way you can do a couple things, see how it works out and then either continue or change what you selected at that point.

Now I am hoping you update soon although I know you have been busy with personal stuff. Also a request for some basic lycanthropy race templates would be nice!

Correction to that, it is F9. And the check box is on the Options tab. And I use that option 100% of the time. If I had to do it again, I would have learned Java and written it all in that. Oh well.

As for Lycanthropy, I could have swarn I added something for that.

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.10.0.0 : Many a Fix. New Archetype. New Prestige Class. Added Basic Lycanthropy support. More Updates.

I have access to my page, once again. I lost access for about four months. Sorry about that.

Most excellent. What exactly is that option called in the options tab? I must be either blind of have a -10 to my perception check rolls.

I await this laudable development with much enthusiasm.

I was working on a sheet last night and tried to apply power attack to a 2 hander and had a little trouble.

Under the weapons tab, there are the two 'Use' drop down menus. I believe greatsword defaults as a two-hander, since the damage calculates properly without any special buffs or special use rule. However, when I changed the top drop down to Power Attack and left the other rule 'Auto' the damage doesn't change, but the hit modifier does.

If the top menu is left 'Auto' and the bottom is changed to power attack, it works fine. Is that intended or a bug with 'Auto'?

You sneaky! I was hoping to get this bug fixed before you found out! Yeah, I found this out when dealing with Lances, Charge, and Power Attack. I've got it set to be corrected in the next update.

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.13.0.0 : Corrected issue with some feats, weapon uses, and some minor printing improvements. Also added the other Winter Witch.

More thumbs up! :)

Dear Bluecanary:

When it comes to Character Sheets III and IV, where do you input data for that to show up?

Um, that might not be clear. What I guess I'm trying to ask is, what are those 2 sheets meant to display? They link to something else but not sure what.

I was hoping to put somewhere a character background and such, but the input box on the race and stats sheet isn't much, and that shows up in the same area as feats on Character Sheet II. So, I was trying to figure out how to get all that information to show up on Character Sheet III, but couldn't figure it out.

Second Question: Is there a page I don't see for spells?

Third Question: For wildshape buff, I select the animal and the buff shows up. I got that, but where do I go to import a custom animal, specifically like a Dire Tiger?

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.18.0.1 : More and more traits. Added Story Feats. Added new options for speeding up load/save.

If you goto the Customization Tab, the top left corner shows you the order of data display. You can change it. Sheet III is totally open if I recall, and you can just type. IV is used for overflow from Sheet II. I personally set Sheet IV as the primary, but don't change the other settings. What this does is displays the same info on II and IV.

Also lower down on the customization page you can change the order of how things display.

Spells are run in a totally different sheet. As for the wild shape buff. You MIGHT be able to add the custom animal in the animal companion tab, but I have not tried this for Wildshape.

I used to love this program, now I'm mostly frustrated. It's not really Excel 2013/365 compatible and crashes on me constantly. Every character I make will crash sooner or later, so I save constantly (a 5-10 minute process) and pray it doesn't crash while saving, which it does 50% of the time.

It is absolutely everything I could want in Pathfinder and I absolutely love it, but the crashing is just about killing it. If someone could update it to the current version of Excel, I would kowtow to them ten times.

There is a problem in the feats seciton. Most of the pre-req are not being displayed correctly. Greed, bastard born, and visited a ruin or forgotten place are all over the place on it.

I feel your pain. Now that I am on 2013 I am getting the same issue. I don't know WHAT Microsoft changed to 'Make it better', but what ever it was is screwing everything up. I'm trying things to make it better. But I've actually gone to not use the 'SAVE' that I created and just save the entire sheet.

The sections that seem to cause the most issue are Feats, and Specifics. Anytime I run a loop, the sheet gets upset if it takes more then a second.

I'm still working on it, and I really hope I can find an answer.

Also for 2013 users, change the file type to .XLSM this has so far kept it from crashing, at least for me.

Blue canary, your re iteration response time is amazing! Most other designers are Excell Ents but you are simply Excellent!

New Version of sCoreForge out today. - v6.19.0.0 : Working on getting that load/save speeds set to a better range. I've added an option that any tab you have marked as "hidden" or "do not show" will not be saved, excluding Level and Specific. Specifically I have changed how Feats, Specific, and Source Books save. You may or may not have issues with these on a load from an earlier version.
