Whenever a thread entitled "Is X An Evil Act?" appears, I invite everyone in the community to simply provide a link to this thread, rather than going through the pointless and time-consuming routine of actually responding.

And remember, kids, starting a thread entitled "Is X an Evil Act?" is, in and of itself, an evil act on the part of the person starting the thread.

I shall now title my threads "is X a Good act?".

Time to start up a campaign, make a paladin fall for killing an enemy in battle instead of dealing nothing but nonlethal damage and trying to tie up every sentient foe encountered. When he protests, I'll tell him to come to the boards and ask if killing his enemies in the heat of battle is an evil act.

Riling Kirth is an evil act. If you don't believe me, check out any of the political or religious threads!

Actually, you should probably go ahead and create the "if you have to ask, the answer is 'no'" thread as well for those folks who post questions about whether the new way they found to bend and twist the rules is legal or not.

Er... I actually think some of the rules as written are far too restrictive (e.g., no Vital Striking on a charge, no single-weapon flurries), so I'll leave that to someone who doesn't.

I'd like to offer a corollary: "If you feel you have to ask permission, the answer is 'No'."

The sub-corollary, "It is usually easier to ask forgiveness than permission," still applies, but it may still get you TPKed.
