I am wondering if Paizo would be willing to make a minor change to the you have Saving Throw DC descripions in future products?
The way a Save DC shows now is. Command (DC 18)
Would it be possible to change the letters DC to the first letter of the Save?
Like this: Command (W 18)
Just the first letter would let us know what the save is and I don't have to find the spell to see what type of save it is.
Don't know if this is too much work but it would make my job as DM easier and faster.

If you really can't tell at a glance what kind of saving throw a spell would call for, more practise as a GM will cure that problem. There are only THREE types to worry about as opposed to AD&D's SIX plus System and Ressurection Shock

Sometimes trying to use common sense doesn't work. There are spells that call for a Will save when common sense would suggest Fortitude save. Once you read the fine detail of a spell you understand why, but even experienced GMs will make these mistakes from time to time.
That said, I don't think it is needed. Taking a little extra time during prep to look up that information will allow you to do more then just look up the type of save. The three things that are often done wrong on spells are saves, range, and target. Just take the time to find and bookmark the spells (either physically or with whatever app you are using,) and you won't have to worry about Paizo adding one letter to those DCs.

Since I am a player and a DM, there is a group of spells that I know what they do but cannot remember if it is a Will or Fortitude save, and since I do not ever play an evil character they are not spells I use regularly, only when I DM.
I would also like to add that even if you do not know the spell that the save is against, you can still have the PC's roll to determine if they saved, because quite often a save equals no effect.
Believe me, I have to look spells up all the time for their different effects, but if there is no real cost difference, and it helps speed up the game a little then I think it would be a good thing.

I agree with the OP. IMO the biggest problem with 3.x/PF is the huge barrier to entry for the DM/GM. Anything that simplifies the stat block should be considered seriously. Honestly, even a CR3 or 4 level monster can require cross referencing 3 different books and 2 dozen spells and abilities. More practice at GMing or more prep are not answers, they are work arounds. Let's create a manageable, encounter centric, stat block!!!
